The staff (two middle-aged guys) seemed to have an attitude problem. The food was also not fantastic, with dry chicken and tasteless food overall. I think they were trying to copy Mr. Grumpy Nasi Ayam's attitude but failed on the food. Anyway, this was my first and last time eating there. Beware!

A very disappointing experience. The staff had arrogant and unfriendly expressions, which made me feel unwelcome. On top of that, the chicken was very dry. Poor service and food. I really hope they improve their customer service skills — it would make a big difference.

The worst customer service in Singapore. My mom wanted to order, but the owner kept showing a black face to her. We buy the chicken rice, not eat it for free! Please educate yourself in customer service before selling food. First impressions are very important. Nobody will eat at your shop ever again.

No queue when I was there. Ordered the chicken thigh set at $7. The set came with additional tempeh and fried beancurd as sides, along with a bowl of soup. Generous amount of fried crisp and chilli. The chicken was well-marinated and tasted good. The only thing is that it's a bit dry and tough. The chilli was great and paired with the crisp was excellent. Overall, pretty okay.

I boycotted this place for a few years. The first time I bought from them again, it was tasty, so I came back a second time. This happened a few years ago while ordering my nasi ayam and porridge for takeaway at this stall. I saw the staff's sweat dripping all over my chicken rice and porridge. It wasn't just one or two drops, but I saw more than ten drops of sweat on my food. The seller seemed indifferent and nonchalant about hygiene. I was shocked at their nonchalant attitude towards hygiene. I didn't make a scene; I paid for my order and threw it in a bin nearby. Why would I eat food with sweat all over it and risk food poisoning?

Sedap.... Nasi Ayam is the best.... Go early while it's still juicy.... Preparation methods are still old school. So yummy, Ayam Penyet is also very popular. Prices are competitive, worth the visit each time.

Was looking for nearby takeout and chanced upon the Bedok Food Centre (opposite Greenwood mall). Saw a queue, so I was curious what the fuss was about. The takeout was well worth the money. Everything in this Nasi Adam Penyet was a win, from the fried chicken to the tempeh to the homemade chilli to the fluffy rice, all for $7 .

The chicken was moist yet crispy. One of the better ayam penyets I have tasted. The chilli was spicy but sweet, though not the chicken rice type. The price is now $7.

Always a decent option for ayam penyet. They recently raised prices by $1, so it's now $6.80 for breast and $7 for drumstick. However, their chicken is good, the rice is fragrant, and the sambal is spicy. I would prefer if they gave a bigger piece of tempe and tahu goreng, but I will still order from them nonetheless! Saw a queue and joined it. The ayam penyet was honestly not too bad. The chicken thigh was tender and the skin was crispy. The chili sauce paired well with the rice too! It cost $7 for the chicken thigh and $6.80 for the chicken breast.
