Makciks, customer service is important if you want to do business. The way you talk and treat your customers matters. Also, smile! Every time I come to your shop, your faces look unhappy.

Didn't expect much service from hawkers, but a thank you and a smile to customers would be better. Also, learn to communicate with each other? I had to repeat my order three times to two different people, and they are just side by side. Relax and smile, cik. In shaa Allah, business will be better than ever.

I went in the morning and asked for Mee Soto, but the makcik looked at the other makcik, who then glanced at the pot and then looked at me again, telling me, "3pm only." So, I went next door to get my teh halia. Immediately after, another customer asked for Mee Soto in Malay and was served right away. This clearly shows preferential treatment towards a specific demographic. I cannot believe this behaviour is still happening in 2024.

The makcik's work doesn't seem sincere. My friend and I were standing in line waiting to order, and the makcik went out, possibly for a toilet break, without making eye contact with us. She left us standing there without saying anything. When she returned five minutes later, not a word was spoken, and she went back into the stall to wash some dishes and prepare her onions. Only after another minute of watching her, did she take the order from the customer in front of me. When she asked the customer, in a rude and impatient tone, what kind of noodles they wanted for the Bakso, that's when I decided not to patronize such a rude store. In total, I wasted 15 minutes standing in front of the store when there was no queue. Reading the reviews afterwards, I'm appalled that this is considered normal for the store.

Great food, but the queue can be a bit slow. If you're unlucky, the queue can get long near meal times. Tried the Kentang Ball (potato ball). Very hefty and filling. Imagine a potato ball (mashed potato/begedil) the size of an adult fist, swimming in a very savoury and spiced gravy-soup. Add two Tulang (one mutton leg bone, cooked well and long, sawn in half so you can suck the marrow), and you get a very filling and satisfying meal. Best on a rainy day, I swear. I have also had takeaway Tahu Telur. An excellent choice, it holds well even when taken away. You can watch the makcik aunty fry the dish by ladling oil over the Tahu Telur, and you just know it's going to taste great. Will be back to try the other offerings.

The mee rebus gravy was thick and flavourful. I saw many people ordering this, so I decided to try it. The queue wasn't too long, so we got our food fairly quickly.

Went on a Monday morning around 10:30 am. The hawker centre is clean and well-maintained. I opted for an old-school breakfast: a hearty kampung porridge with fermented soy bean, roasted peanuts, fried ikan bilis, sambal kangkong, stir-fried beancurd & ikan bilis in soy sauce, served with a side of salted egg, sambal belacan, and chili padi soy sauce. It's a perfect dish to start the day! Highly recommended, but do note that the porridge is only served in the morning. I also had the Kacang Phool with a fluffy yet crunchy baguette. It tasted the same as the Geylang Serai one and was delicious! Highly recommended for a light morning meal.
