The Pakistani-style biryani was a feast for the senses. The first thing that hit me was the aroma – a heady mix of cardamom, cloves, and bay leaves rising from the pot, promising layers of flavor to come. The basmati rice was beautifully done: each grain long, fluffy, and separate, carrying the fragrance of the spice blend without being heavy. With every bite, there was a gentle unfolding of flavors – the warmth of cinnamon, the earthy depth of cumin, and the brightness of fresh coriander and mint. The meats were the highlight – both mutton and chicken cooked until tender, juicy, and well-marinated, with the spices seeping right through. The mutton had a rich, almost buttery taste, while the chicken was lighter yet equally flavorful, making each mouthful different but equally satisfying. What made the biryani special was the layering – caramelized onions adding a subtle sweetness, chilies giving a pleasant kick, and herbs weaving freshness through the richness. No single spice dominated; instead, they harmonized into a balanced, aromatic whole. The side salad brought a crisp freshness, while the light curry gave an extra punch of spice and gravy for those who wanted more heat. Together, it rounded out the meal into something hearty, soulful, and deeply comforting. A biryani that doesn’t just fill the stomach, but truly tells a story through its herbs and layers of flavor.

This is one of the best biryani dishes I've had. The rice is the most fragrant and tasty version I've ever encountered. The mutton is tender and moist, easily separating from the bone. At $9, it is worth it based on quality alone and yet still generously portioned. The part that could be better is the accompanying sauce, as it is a bit thin for my taste. Personally, a heavier, sharper taste like a fish curry would be preferable.

I was craving Pakistani biryani and found this place through a Google search. Seeing the glowing reviews, I knew I had to try it – they truly live up to the 5-star ratings! I wanted to try the Mutton Biryani, but it was already sold out by dinner time when I arrived, so I opted for the Chicken Pulao. Kak Yusnita and Mr Rizwan were so kind to still scoop up what biryani and mutton they had left so I could try it. Both the Chicken Pulao I ordered and the Mutton Biryani they let me try were incredibly flavourful. Trust me when I say I licked everything off that plate, including the delicious cucumber and curry that came with it (which Kak Yusnita generously topped up for me because she saw me finishing them halfway through my meal). Kak Yusnita was also really nice to come sit and chat with me while I had my dinner. Awesome food and even better hospitality! Thanks so much for sharing your food with us.

At first, the price might seem a bit expensive for a hawker stall, but the food is as rumoured and truly worth the price. The rice is fluffy, the mutton is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sauce is just right. Highly recommend.

Finally got to try this Pakistani dum biryani after months of wondering what's different. Coming off a 17-hour intermittent fast, I decided to try both mutton and chicken given the raves over both. I went for the half-half to try both types of rice and added on a chicken leg for an additional $5, making it $14 for the whole plate. It's not exactly cheap, but very worth it! There wasn't a big difference in the two types of rice, but after trying both for a while, I felt that the mutton biryani was slightly more fragrant than the chicken biryani. The mutton was out of this world, with the meat sliding off the bones at the slightest pull of the fork! The generous portion of mutton was delectable and amazingly tender, and definitely among the best I've eaten in Singapore. As for the chicken, it was tender as well, coming off the bone easily, but I much prefer my chicken meat to be a bit more firm and have more bite. Like previous customers, I didn't much care for the thin curry as it didn't add much to the taste of the rice. Definitely will return again!
