I called the outlet to enquire about a double deduction on Shopback due to a system glitch. I was told I had to make my way down to collect the refund, even though it was already past 8 PM and I don't live nearby. I insisted that Swee Heng previously allowed me to collect refunded amounts at my convenience. With the prevalence of cashless systems, businesses should have a protocol to deal with such issues instead of leaving it to chance.

I used to always enjoy going to Polar Puffs for their eclairs. I'm glad I could use Kris+ Pay for payment, but their eclairs are now filled with buttercream instead of fresh cream like in the past. This is probably because they can be kept longer, but it's no longer as good as before. I might get other products in the future, such as their pies, but even those have shrunk in size while prices have gone up.
