The only authentic Malay stall in One Punggol Hub. It's a shame it's the only Malay cuisine here, but fortunately, they cook the dishes very well. PayNow is available.
The Nasi Sambal Goreng is flavourful and authentically cooked. The beef rendang is soft and tasty.
The lontong gravy here is thick with real coconut flavour. The portion is quite filling, and the price is very affordable.
Will try more dishes in the near future. Hopefully, they can maintain the food standards too.

This was the best dish at our table. The rendang was full of flavour and the meat was delicious, though a tad on the hard side. The portion could have been bigger, we thought, but it was tasty.

Many meatless options here, all cooked very well. They should open another outlet at Punggol Coast Hawker Centre; we need a solid nasi padang stall in that area!

What a cool name - Rendang Nation! The signature rendang is indeed tender and well-spiced, but maybe lacking salt. The lontong is only $3.50 and looks so lemak, but again could be enlivened with salt. The bagedil is okay but a little too mushy.

I read about the new One Punggol and its hawker food being served at reasonable prices, so I went to check it out today. When we reached One Punggol, we walked through the hawker centre and indeed there were many different stalls with lots of tables and seats, which were well spaced.
RedangNation caught our eye. There was already a queue in front of the stall. The stall was manned by a few friendly and warm ladies, and we were easily persuaded by their friendliness to give it a try.
We got chicken rendang with rice and beef rendang with rice, each with a side of vegetables that you could choose. This was for a very reasonable price of $5.50. We also added a bagedil each for another 80c.
The beef rendang was well cooked, the beef was tender, and the rendang gravy was thick. The flavours released from the spices made it really tasty. I had red chili sauce added to mine, and I think you should try it. It wasn't spicy but rather mildly sweet. I really liked eating the rice with that chili too. As for the veggies, I asked for curry vegetables and was given quite a generous portion. Lastly, which is very important to me, is that the dishes are placed nicely around the rice and not all mixed together haphazardly on the rice. An elderly man, queuing in front of me, ordered nasi padang and chose about 5 different dishes. I was so impressed that all the food was arranged so nicely around the rice on his plate. This is what I call taking pride in serving up a nice dish, taking the effort and time to arrange the dishes. After seeing that, I was determined to order from this stall.
Overall, it was a very good lunch, very filling, and at a very reasonable price. You can be sure that the next time I'm back, it will be for the nasi padang.
