There is clearly no concept of urgency or time at this store. I waited a total of 13 minutes, first in the queue, and was not attended to, with at least 8 people forming a snaking queue behind me. Upon kindly prompting the server if I could place an order, I was brushed off, and she went back to her personal chores. I had to walk off so I could catch my bus. I observed that she still didn’t attend to the person behind me. A waste of time and a bad start to the day. This is not the first time.

Would have given 0 stars if I could. Ordered 2 pratas and 1 plain, all premade by the owner. The pratas were cold and hard, not to mention the curry was cold too. Horrible food and will never visit again.

First visit. Very good. Service was friendly. The man insisted on finding me a bigger piece of potato. Prices were very good too, $2.50 for two plain prata with a lot of traditional Indian spicy curry - not the usual watery kind.
The place was cool and comfortable as it was early morning. Will come again for their rice sets. (See my photos)

Opinion does not represent other dishes. I ordered mutton briyani, which costed me $8, though the price list indicated $7.50. The mutton had such a big bone and the meat was tough that I gave up after much struggle.

Ordered the Combo Biryani for $16.50. It comes with chicken, mutton, fish, egg, and vegetables – enough for 2 days! Maybe 2 people can share one portion. Delicious, and the spice level is good for me, not too spicy. Will come back again, but I'll order something else instead of the combo set.

One of the best biryani I’ve eaten thus far! Enjoyed the whole chicken experience. The chicken meat was so tender it just comes off without much effort. Definitely recommend this. Chef's kiss.

This stall was one of my favourites when I worked at Harbourfront many years ago. I would patronise them for their mutton briyani at least three times a week then. So when I was nearby recently, I decided to check up on the stall to see if their standard is still there.
I arrived around 3pm, which is after the lunchtime crowd, so the long queues were almost gone for most of the stalls.
The auntie asked for my order. I said I wanted mutton briyani. She then asked me if I wanted bone or boneless mutton. I prefer the boneless mutton cubes, which are easier to chew. The mutton briyani is $8 and it comes with a hardboiled egg and a papadam. It is served on top of a banana leaf, which makes the rice even more fragrant.
As expected, the high standard of the dish is still there!
The mutton cubes are so tender that it is probably the best I've had in a long while. The spices, curry, and basmati rice are all very decently cooked and delicious.
I finished everything edible on the plate, barring the banana leaf.
Will be back for more soon.

Go to mutton bone briyani, which always sells out by lunchtime.
Fragrant rice vrry far abovr usual
Go for the mutton bone briyani, which always sells out by lunchtime. The fragrant rice is very far above the usual Singapore standard, with fall-off-the-bone tender briyani. Bring your own raisins and cashews to make the rice taste even better.

The briyani is ok, can work on improving the rice aroma. Meat was tender. Price is reasonable.
The briyani is okay, but the rice aroma could be improved. The meat was tender, and the price is reasonable.
