The food was really good! I liked the quesadilla a lot. You can sign up to be a member and get a free drink, which you can get from the staff. However, they almost charged me for my free drink upon checkout, but luckily I double-checked before paying. The downside is that it's on the pricey side for Mexican food. There was also slight false advertising. The price advertised on the website doesn't reflect what you see on the physical menu. They advertised a $15.80 lunch set, but in reality, it's $17.70 before GST and service charge. The quesadilla pieces are also very small and feel like children's portion sizes. The Mexican chicken soup was also good. Personally, I feel there shouldn't be a service charge since there wasn't much service, but overall, it's a passable place to dine at.

We enjoyed our time dining at Sanchos Taqueria. We had been wanting to try halal Mexican cuisine, and it did not disappoint. The tacos were amazing, especially the Bang Bang Prawn Tacos. They were light and refreshing, and the sauce added a kick to the overall flavour. Price-wise, it's a little steep, so we'd go to celebrate special occasions.

If you want to try Mexican food, this is a good place to start. I must point out that I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the Mexican taste and flavour. What I do appreciate is the ability to choose 'non-spicy'. I've always wanted to have burritos, so I finally had one. I enjoyed it. It was non-spicy and, more importantly for me, not very salty either. Just right for my taste buds. As for service, I can't comment much. Everything was done via my mobile. The only human interaction was when the food was served and when paying at the counter. The words exchanged were pretty much 'thank you' from me. That's pretty much the service touchpoints in most restaurants in Singapore – more self-service and less human interaction.

My friends and I had lunch here on a weekday morning (around 10-11 am). There was no queue as we were the first customers, and the staff allocated us seats quickly. The overall ambience was conducive for conversations, and the lighting made the space comfortable for dining. In terms of waiting time, the dishes arrived relatively quickly. We ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos, chicken quesadillas, and aglio olio lunch set. All three dishes were well prepared, and I enjoyed the tacos a lot. The shrimp was well-cooked and warm, while the batter was crispy. All the vegetables paired cohesively and enhanced the overall taste of the dish.

Overall pretty good. The food quality was alright, as was the service. Mains were good, but the loaded nachos for appetiser were a small serving and of average quality. The location is excellent. Value for money is medium.

16.08.25 Stumbled upon Sanchos Taqueria while looking for a place to dine for dinner, and it turned out to be a great choice! The food was delicious and served quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. Another huge plus is that it's Halal certified, making it an excellent spot for everyone to enjoy. Definitely not a disappointment; will be coming back again. Highly recommend! Thank you guys!
