San.wich is a halal-certified Japanese-inspired sandwich concept by Swee Heng Bakery, Singapore's leading halal bakery chain, offering handcrafted sandwiches made with freshly baked bread and premium ingredients. Located at Lot One Shoppers' Mall in Choa Chu Kang, the shop specializes in unique, colorful breads featuring natural colors like purple, green, orange, and yellow derived from vegetables rather than artificial food coloring. This innovative approach combines visual appeal with natural ingredients, making each sandwich both Instagram-worthy and health-conscious.

The menu offers both savory and sweet options with affordable pricing ranging from .80 to .40, including popular items like Nyonya Curry Chicken with Egg (), Chicken Cutlet & Pumpkin with Egg (), Kit Kat Brownie Sandwich (.20), and Assorted Fruits Sandwich (.20). The natural vegetable-based bread colors create a distinctive product that stands out in Singapore's competitive sandwich market while maintaining the fresh, creative, and quality standards that Swee Heng Bakery is known for.

San.wich represents Swee Heng Bakery's commitment to innovation within halal food production, joining their other concept stores like Crolo (croffles and croissants) and Classic 1989. The brand successfully targets health-conscious consumers and social media-savvy diners who appreciate both aesthetic appeal and halal certification, contributing to Singapore's diverse halal dining options with Japanese-inspired creativity and accessible pricing.

Not anywhere near a good sandwich. Filling was half filled (tuna) which is not fulfilling and taste

Not anywhere near a good sandwich. The filling (tuna) was half-filled, which wasn't satisfying, and the taste seemed to come straight from a can of tuna water. The other sandwich I got was chicken cutlet, and it was hard despite eating it the same day, mostly covered with fats. I couldn't find any succulent bits at all. The bread was too porous and lacked a rich density when bitten. Very disappointing when sandwiches are the sole focus of this shop, and the bread on its own isn't even tasty. You can easily find better satisfaction with bread from any nearby bakery.

The staff (a senior Malay lady) at Tampines 1 was very rude and unfriendly. She was easily agitated and replied impatiently when asked a simple question. It was my first time, and after this bad experience, I don't even dare to buy anything from this shop. I hope she can treat customers with respect.

Loved every bite! With many varieties to choose from, we definitely enjoyed munching on the yummy food. Located in Tampines 1 basement 1, this place attracts a lot of foot traffic, so it can get quite busy. Let's Dive in!! Food: There's not much more to say other than it's yummy. Also, there are waffles being sold here, so the yumminess just expanded! Service: Staff were seen in constant motion, which reflects how busy it is. The shelves are consistently stacked with food and are pleasing to the eyes. Atmosphere: Tampines 1 has been a busy place since its early days and has managed to maintain its crowd-pulling appeal despite recent renovations. With a variety of stalls and choices around, it feels great to be in the mall shopping. All in all, we will definitely recommend this to anyone, yes, anyone, due to its yumminess. And yes, a tip: if you buy and tapao (takeaway) home, please warm the bread up for 30 seconds. Why? Because warm food tastes the best! Cheers!
