San.wich is a halal-certified Japanese-inspired sandwich concept by Swee Heng Bakery, Singapore's leading halal bakery chain, offering handcrafted sandwiches made with freshly baked bread and premium ingredients. Located at Lot One Shoppers' Mall in Choa Chu Kang, the shop specializes in unique, colorful breads featuring natural colors like purple, green, orange, and yellow derived from vegetables rather than artificial food coloring. This innovative approach combines visual appeal with natural ingredients, making each sandwich both Instagram-worthy and health-conscious.

The menu offers both savory and sweet options with affordable pricing ranging from .80 to .40, including popular items like Nyonya Curry Chicken with Egg (), Chicken Cutlet & Pumpkin with Egg (), Kit Kat Brownie Sandwich (.20), and Assorted Fruits Sandwich (.20). The natural vegetable-based bread colors create a distinctive product that stands out in Singapore's competitive sandwich market while maintaining the fresh, creative, and quality standards that Swee Heng Bakery is known for.

San.wich represents Swee Heng Bakery's commitment to innovation within halal food production, joining their other concept stores like Crolo (croffles and croissants) and Classic 1989. The brand successfully targets health-conscious consumers and social media-savvy diners who appreciate both aesthetic appeal and halal certification, contributing to Singapore's diverse halal dining options with Japanese-inspired creativity and accessible pricing.

We were drawn in after walking past their beautifully wrapped sandwiches on display. The bagel was tough but lacked the chewiness you would usually find in a bagel. As for the fillings, the meat was packed toward the front of the sandwich, leaving the rest a bit underwhelming. It felt more like something you could make at home rather than a deli-style sandwich. At the current price point, it's hard to be too disappointed.

The Nets and Paywave machines have been down for two weeks. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it's unacceptable.

I recently made my second purchase at San-wich, and while the sandwiches are a bit overpriced, the taste is decent. However, I was quite disappointed with the dessert sandwich as it was filled with an excessive amount of fresh cream, leaving more than half of it unappealing. Considering the quality, $3.40 for this item is not justified. Overall, while the regular sandwiches are okay, the dessert option was a letdown.

We went to buy bread at 2:49 PM. A Chinese waitress saw us queuing and kept attending to customers ahead of us who were queuing for cakes. We were in a hurry, but she noticed us and waited until she finished with them before collecting our money. I hope your staff can be more flexible.

This is a concept store selling Japanese-inspired sandos (Japanese sandwiches), which are currently trending. They contain no artificial flavours, no colouring, and no preservatives. They offer a wide variety of savoury and sweet sandos. The ingredient combinations for some sandos were new to me, but I tried these 6 selections and was surprisingly delighted by how delicious they all were . Their chicken is tender, and the fillings are quite flavourful. As someone who isn't typically a fan of vegetables, I didn't mind them in my sandos as they added moisture and a layer of crunchiness. Good as a snack. The bread comes with its skin, and you can't really taste the flavour of the bread. The bread is soft and dense. The chicken fillet with hashbrown has a good texture and crunch.

I initially bought two, and then bought another two upon finishing my first two sandwiches. I love that the sandwiches are only half portions, allowing me to choose a variety of flavors. I will definitely visit again and share this place with my family and friends.

Visited this outlet on a Thursday evening. There was a 'buy three, free one' promotion, which was a great deal. I love the bagel, and the chicken is very well-marinated and tender. The portion is just perfect for a quick breakfast. Next time, I'll try more different flavours.
