Similar to other reviews, I've supported this place many times. However, today they changed our order of two packets to chicken wings without bothering to inform us, seemingly to earn an extra $6. I've asked Grab for a refund and will not order again.

Miserable portion. Only 4 slices of lontong, about 1cm each. There was 1 piece of tauhu, 1 egg, a small dollop of sambal, and serunding. The gravy and vegetables were nicely portioned, though. But please, you won't go bankrupt by giving customers satisfaction. I think this place is overrated.

Bought mee soto from Grab, and it came with a whole chicken wing? They should at least shred the chicken. Do they expect us to tear the meat before eating? Also, the chicken wing seemed undercooked, with raw parts. Not tender at all.

This shop is nestled in a cozy coffeeshop near Sumang LRT. I used to like their mee soto, lontong, mee rebus, etc. (Updated again in June 2024) The boy preparing orders was really blur. For mee soto, they just placed one chicken wing into the dish. It's tough eating like that. The soup is still okay, but I feel the service has dropped.

The food is delicious, but the service has dropped over time. I ordered nasi sambal goreng with beef rendang and only received one piece of beef. The stall also completely missed out the bergedil.

Super delicious, every dish is great. I love seeing the many colours on my plate; it is very satisfying. The red chilli, rendang sauce, and vegetable curry all add to the flavours!

Soft and fluffy basmati rice paired with a generous heap of fragrant sambal. It's no wonder they sell out by 11 am almost daily, because really, that's all you need for nasi lemak, right?

Didn't even know there was this yummy Malay nasi stall so near my home. I had to Google search when I was craving nasi lemak at 7 am. It's located within the Foodgle coffee shop at 308C Punggol Walk (actually nearer Punggol Way). I bought a pack of nasi lemak for $4 and a pack of nasi rawon for $7 (the latter is only available on Sat & Sun). The nasi lemak was average, but my wife likes the basmati rice. The chicken wing was tasty and tender. Nasi Rawon is a totally different experience. It was really yummy, everything from the chilli (with just the right touch of sweetness) to the sambal cuttlefish (tender and not rubbery) and tasty bergedil. I found the tempeh a bit dry, though. But the soup that came along with it was really nice. It looked spicy and dark, but it's actually mild with a tinge of sweetness. It went really well with the rice and sambal. I added a beef rendang to the rawon, and it was worth the $4 extra. The meat was tender and the taste was good. I'll need to try the mee soto, mee rebus, and mee sotong another day. Do note they close at 11 am or till sold out.

To begin with, I'm a big fan of Nasi Rawon. Sumang Nasi Padang was recommended to me by a Grab driver. By the time the shop officially opened, I was third in the queue, and within minutes, the queue was super long. No wonder the Grab driver told me to go early. I bought a packet of Nasi Rawon for myself, and to be honest, there aren't many places in Singapore that sell Nasi Rawon. I can say this is pretty good for my taste buds.

Had the mee rebus today and added a bergedil to complete the ensemble. The noodles were cooked al dente, retaining a 'spring' when you bite into them, and were not overcooked or mushy. The mee rebus sauce was also amazing, not overpowering at all. The green chilli gives it an extra kick, and the beansprouts add a little more crunch to the dish. Squeeze the lime and mix it well to give the mee rebus a slight tang and acidity to balance out the sauce. A very satisfying meal! The bergedil, though not the star, was great as well. Not overly crumbly and very well seasoned! A perfect combination to kick start your day! The price is reasonable too! Highly recommended!
