Don’t let the operating hours on Google fool you. As a frequent patron of this eatery, allow me to share this for families in Pasir Ris planning a weekend breakfast: Operating hours are 6:30 am to 8:30 am.

The staff was very rude.

First time trying the mee goreng, it reminded me of old-school mee goreng with sambal... MasyaAllah! And the sambal nasi goreng was super satisfying! The portion given is a home portion. Alhamdulillah, thumbs up!

The food is okay, and nice.

The nasi lemak was a pleasant surprise; I will definitely come back again!

Tried this for the first time, even though I heard they were very popular at the Punggol outlet. I first tried it on their launch day when they offered free food for 3 hours (how nice!). So far, I've tried their nasi padang, lontong, and nasi lemak. I would say their lontong is rated best, followed by their nasi padang, and lastly nasi lemak. I will definitely patronise them again for their lontong.

Selera Sumang is my go-to nasi padang place. I am obsessed and have been for the past few months ever since I discovered them at Punggol. They're definitely affordable and so good, flavorful, and consistent! I know because I eat their food at least once a week or more. However, they're closed on Tuesdays at the Punggol outlet, and I just wish their off days for the Pasir Ris outlet were different! I always crave Selera Sumang for some reason every Tuesday and always get disappointed. If their Pasir Ris outlet were open on Tuesdays, I'd for sure travel there just for them! I'm writing this review on a Tuesday as I'm craving for some good, amazing nasi padang :)
