Siti Nur Liyana Nasi Lemak earned the top ranking among 30 nasi lemak stalls reviewed by HungryGoWhere, establishing itself as a premier destination at Adam Road Food Centre despite competition from numerous hawkers. Operating from 6:30am to 10pm Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Sunday while closing Thursdays, this Muslim-owned stall serves Malay and Asian cuisines with particular excellence in their namesake nasi lemak and surprisingly outstanding mee rebus that rivals their flagship dish.

The menu extends beyond nasi lemak to encompass breakfast-only offerings like mee siam and lontong, plus all-day options including mee soto ayam, tahu goreng, mee bandung, and the highly praised mee rebus. This breadth allows the stall to serve different dayparts effectively, capturing breakfast crowds seeking traditional coconut rice alongside lunch and dinner customers wanting noodle dishes. The quality across categories suggests deep culinary knowledge rather than diluted focus.

Customer reviews consistently praise the nasi lemak as the best in Adam Road Food Centre, high commendation given the location reputation for quality Muslim food. The frequent long queues indicate strong reputation translating to sustained demand despite the wait times, suggesting customers consider the food worth the patience. The stall identity as Muslim-owned provides additional assurance beyond the halal food court environment.

The Adam Road Food Centre location positions Siti Nur Liyana within an essential node of Singapore halal hawker food scene, serving Bukit Timah neighbourhood residents alongside visitors travelling specifically for the centre offerings. The closure for renovation in 2023 and subsequent reopening demonstrates the hawker centres ongoing importance. For those seeking exceptional nasi lemak with documented top-tier ranking or excellent mee rebus, Siti Nur Liyana delivers hawker quality that justifies deliberate travel and queuing time.

Craving for nasi lemak, my first thought is Adam Road. I went there at 2:45 pm, and the only nasi lemak store available was Siti Nur. They were transitioning to selling their goreng menu after 2 pm, so I decided to just try it. I ordered Set B with extra rice, costing $4 + $1 = $5. The rice wasn't fragrant enough, and the sambal chilli was sweet, not spicy. The fried chicken wings weren't even marinated, lacking a distinct Malay taste. Sitting in front of the stall, I noticed many customers ordering their stir-fried rice and noodles. The nasi lemak was acceptable but not great . I'll come earlier next time to try the no. 1 and no. 2 stores here around 11 am.

The mee soto is good; I alternate between this and another store because they are both great. Super fast ordering time and good opening hours. Update: The mee soto was not as nice in the morning; I think it was better in the afternoon. The nasi lemak was not that good. The chicken was very oily and flavourless, and the rice not fragrant enough. The sambal is okay. I wouldn't order the nasi lemak again.

I always eat at this Nasi Lemak store for the following reasons: 1) Their pricing is good. Their Set B is $3.50, and adding a potato fritter only costs $4. 2) Their chicken wing batter is light and crispy, and they always serve fresh, crunchy ikan bilis. 3. The chilli is on the sweeter side but goes nicely with the food.

Will definitely come back. I was queuing for another famous nasi lemak, but the line was so long. I decided to check out other stalls and found this one interesting. I bought nasi lemak and mee rebus. It's quite common in Indonesia to eat this kind of food. But I can guarantee this one tastes so good. I also read at their stall that they are quite famous and recommended. They have several dish options here. Too bad, since the fish was almost sold out, I didn't get a decent picture of it.

Feb 2023 • The rice was fluffy with a subtle taste. • The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist inside. • The portion of sambal chili was extremely generous and spicy (loved it). • The staff were friendly and cheerful. • There are plenty of nasi lemak stalls in Adam Road Food Centre, and it's impossible to say which is the "original" or "best", but I like this stall.
