The food looks okay, but the taste is bad. The smell of reused oil is present in every single fried item. It's quite unpleasant. I hope I don't get food poisoning after eating such poor-quality food. Only two staff were serving the entire restaurant. The Vietnamese staff couldn't understand basic English or Chinese. I gave feedback to the manager, Ms. Annie, about the food quality, and she said feedback could only be given through Google reviews. So, here I am.

The standard has dropped a lot. We missed the Streats at Bukit Panjang Plaza which was closed for a couple of years. We were surprised this outlet is still surviving. Firstly, the restaurant was temporarily closed for 30 minutes, which was during peak hour. Secondly, they got our order wrong. We didn't want to waste food, so we accepted it. The churros were as thin as my kid's finger. All the dishes we tried were not nice. Overpriced and not worth it. Many menu items like bakmie ayam pangsit are no longer available. Sorry, not coming again.

The Molten Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun is strongly not recommended. The clay pot curry chicken has a couple more chicken pieces than the single drumstick shown in the picture. The rest of the food was so-so; not bad, but not wow-worthy either.

First time here. Had their Ayam Penyet at a promo of $10 (before GST and service charge). The chicken was decent, but the rice was not fully cooked as I could chew the hardness in the middle. The chilli was not spicy enough. Tables were clean and the place was well air-conditioned.

Got the seafood noodles, and they were hella oily. I agree with one of the reviewers that the oil they use tastes strange. The squid and shrimp tasted like frozen ones (not freshwater prawns; they were the crunchy type). There wasn't much service, considering I ordered from the QR code and walked to make the payment at the counter without getting the check to my table as well. I wonder what service I'm paying for exactly. Skip this spot, it's not worth your time.

Good food. The bento box on weekdays for lunch is very good. I enjoyed the Tom Yum soup. The pepper chicken is also good. For a couple of dollars, the drink tasted good. Very good ambience, service, and price. A good restaurant option in IMM building.

Tuesday, 05 August 2025 @ 12 noon. Farewell for our intern Riaz... wow! No need to queue! Streats Cafe usually has plenty of seats available. The XO Seafood Fried Rice bento and Fried Kway Teow are both pretty good. Pair it with the Blue Pea Cooler with chia seeds — a perfect combo! Total bill for 10 pax: $221.93.

Been here quite a few times, and today was the clincher that made me write a review. Kudos to Syahirah, who was polite and knowledgeable in all questions posed, and provided service that left a pleasing aftertaste when your meal was completed. She suggested we apply for Katrina Rewards to get reward points and a welcome drink redeemable at six different linked restaurants. I had trouble applying for membership as my telco network seemed to be having issues. I asked her if we could forego the membership application and just order through her (as I was unable to scan the QR code to order too). She suggested logging on to their restaurant Wi-Fi, and voilà – membership and ordering were resolved. I also asked her about the process of using NTUC Linkpoints to redeem a Streats $10 voucher, and she advised the procedure. In addition, she gave assurance that she would help walk me through the process during payment, and she kept her word. I managed to get two lunch sets accompanied by free drinks, as it was before 6 pm. Shout-out to the impressive Claypot Peranakan Chicken Curry with rice, which was flavourful with fresh thigh meat. The potato could do with some improvement as it didn't taste that fresh. The curry sauce was delicious enough to drink; I ordered an extra plate of bread to mop it up, and they actually toasted it before serving. Spaghetti bolognese was not bad either. The sauce and meat were plentiful and fully coated the noodles. The noodles were slightly over-cooked; perhaps half a minute less would give them more bite. Both drinks, iced peach tea and iced lemon honey, were flavourful without any watered-down feeling. Service was prompt and courteous. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to my next visit.
