The service at this bakery at Oasis Terrace is very bad. I bought a hotdog bun for $2.20 and gave the counter $2.50. The staff was supposed to give me 30 cents change, but she claimed the bun cost $2.20. She insisted and shouted at me. The service is really bad. I will not buy bread from this bakery anymore.

The chocolate croissant is delicious. I bought the curry bun to taste, but it wasn't vegetarian as I found an egg inside the filling. Therefore, if you are vegetarian, please refrain from getting the curry bun.

Purchased Kueh lapis (4 slices) and these colourful huat kueh (labelled as "cupcake" in the picture), which have been my favourites since I was young. I really don't know what Swee Heng makes them from, but the huat kueh is simply inedible (tastes powdery), and the Kueh Lapis had a weird aftertaste. This bakery chain has fallen far from its prime. I don't recommend anything from them if their standard for huat kueh is so bad.

The supervisor at the Bendemeer branch, wearing a blue-collar T-shirt, was very rude and unfriendly. When asked about the bread, she always answered back rudely and without a smile, saying 'No'. It felt like we owed her money. I asked her a few times on different days.

Paid SGD 2.80 for the Japanese red bean bun, but only less than 1/6th of the bread had filling. What a sham this is.

Swee Heng Bakery here has a full range of bread to suit all ages. Their bread is fresh and soft. My grandchildren like to eat their bread and cakes. Staff are well-trained and knowledgeable. My grandson likes their crushless wholemeal bread; he will toast it and eat it with butter. My son loves their pandan cake rolls... they are equally nice and soft even when eaten the next day.

Purchased on the evening of 18 Sept to celebrate on 19 Sept lunchtime. As I was on a budget, I decided to create a square cake using two rectangular Kaya cakes from Swee Heng! Got them at 20% off each. The original price was $5.30 each with an expiry date of 20 Sept. Non-discounted ones expire on 21 Sept. The kids helped to DIY the cake with Smarties chocolates and grapes!

Their staff member, Catherine, is very kind and helpful. The Swee Heng shop is clean and neat. I like their mango mousse cake; it's very nice. You must try!
