We wanted to try as we had walked past before. Unfortunately, there was no nasi goreng sate ayam, so we opted for the chicken rendang set. The spiciness and taste were nice, but the chicken, bergedil, and brinjal were all rather hard.
My wife went for the ayam penyat and was told it would take 10 minutes to fry. However, we waited for over 20 minutes as the lady running the stall had forgotten her order, and hers was the only one at the time! Must say though that the chicken was crispy and freshly fried, and the tofu was also nice. The chilli packed a kick too.
The Teh O ice was okay, but at $2.20, it was rather expensive. Actually, for the prices, the food portions were just so-so.
Service was okay, but without any smile, which is so different from eating in Indonesia.

The food was great, don't get me wrong, but one of the staff members (a Malay lady wearing glasses and makeup) was very rude and lacked manners. I simply said 'Hello' to her because she didn't even bother to look at me to take my order, and she replied in a very rude tone: 'You wait!' Whoever the owner is, shame on you for not managing your staff properly. Good food is of no use in this situation.

So sorry, but the food was really not nice. The Ayam Lemak or Gulai Ayam tasted like Asam Pedas. I'm sure most of us have been exposed to Indonesian food at some point, or to Nasi Padang. Sadly, the Nasi Padang here does not taste good or familiar at all. The sambal ijo and the red sambal, which were free-flow, also did not taste like Indonesian sambal. I am so sorry to be giving this low rating for the food; I hope the person in charge can do something about it. Other than that, the staff was nice and attentive.
Also, a regular cup of iced Milo is $3.50. You can decide if this is reasonable or not.

Extremely disappointed with my takeaway experience at this shop. I ordered pempek for $6 and was shocked to receive only four small pieces. The portion was incredibly pathetic, not at all what I expected. Pempek is not supposed to be served in such a manner. Take a look at the attached picture to see just how disappointing the portion was.

Food was delicious, especially the Ayam Geprek. Staff was nice and friendly.
The only downside was that some drinks didn't have prices displayed. I was taken aback when it cost $3.50 (I had enquired if Bandung was available, and the staff proceeded to make it). I saw the price on the register and couldn't cancel the order as it was already halfway made.
Perhaps it's a special drink, but I would appreciate it if the stall displayed their prices to better prepare customers when buying. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

Not bad actually, as I didn't expect one here. The food is okay and the chilli paste isn't too hot. However, the tables are not cleaned regularly. BUT, alternative options are provided for all.

Nice food. The price is okay for a shopping mall. See my photo review for more on the food. I think it's located at basement 2, which is the last basement level. I hope the shopping mall's rent doesn't increase so this store can stay longer. All nice or creative food often disappears due to high rent, not a lack of passion from the owners. I hope Singapore can help more food owners by keeping rents affordable long-term. God Bless.

The stall offers nasi padang, bakso, and other local favorites. The nasi padang was flavorful with a good variety of spicy and savory dishes, and the bakso was rich and satisfying. However, the prices were notably high for a food court setting, making the experience feel less value-for-money compared to other options in the area. While the food quality was good, the cost may be a deterrent for those expecting more budget-friendly fare in a casual setting.

This is Indonesian cuisine style. Taste-wise, it's just good. I believe it's less MSG (need to bring Uncle Roger in here!). I ordered satay chicken (10 pcs), jengkol (1 portion), Bakmie ayam complete, cendol, and water. All of that cost 28 SGD. Roughly, the price is 7-8 SGD per menu item, with only the satay costing 15 SGD. Yes, you're reading that correctly; the satay is considered expensive. However, in Indonesia, the price is similar and even more expensive than this, so I'm not surprised anymore.
So far, I recommend this place if you miss Indonesian food. I will come back again someday.

To be fair to the team which comprise of all Indonesian staff, let’s give them some time to get use
To be fair to the team, which comprises all Indonesian staff, let's give them some time to get used to our food court pace here. There are hits and misses, but I'll mention what's good:
1. The Gulai kambing (aka kambing soup) is filled with subtle notes of spices. The mutton meat is soft and breaks apart. The soup can be oily, but you can't have it all. Though we're more used to less salt, we slurped it up regardless.
2. The Ayam penyet looks better than what they displayed. The fried chicken is well-seasoned, has crispy skin, and goes well with the chilli. I think I'll be back for it when I crave ayam penyet. The chilli is spicy and sweet.
The business can do more with the presentation of the food. If it doesn't look good in a picture, it's probably not going to attract the crowd to step in and try. The nasi padang has to appear warm and inviting.
I'll be back to try the less common dishes like pempek and tempe goreng.
