Located in the basement of the new wing of North Point. We tried set B for two. There were lots of vegetables (cabbage and beansprouts), but both were quite tasteless and lightly seasoned with salt. The beef had many inedible parts. The squid and oyster were okay. The prawns were deshelled. The drink was very diluted. Overall, the meat was cooked with only one sauce. Quite disappointed with the taste.

Not certain if this teppanyaki was from the same group that operated in North Point 30 years ago, but the food served was nothing to shout about. The protein was bland and tasteless. I was uncertain if the beef set I ordered was actually beef. Everything was under-seasoned. The brown sauce and chilli padi didn't help it along one bit. The bean sprouts and Chinese long cabbage were overcooked and also bland.

Super long queue, so do come earlier before 6:30 PM on a weekday. We had the sliced beef, which was super spicy and damn shiok. We were served the meat first. The cabbage came next, which took quite some time because the chef was waiting for more patrons to dine before cooking. We almost finished our beef before the cabbage was ready. Last was the bean sprouts, which took even longer... almost done with everything before it was served, also for the same reason... chef waiting around. Anyway, no gravy on the veg unless asked for. Overall, can try once.

All the staff seemed drained of energy, their movements were slow, and everyone appeared to have forgotten what 'passion' is. Everything felt nonchalant, as if we had arrived moments after the manager delivered bad news. Do not expect any form of service; be prepared to be ordered around by the counter staff with instructions like 'stand here' or 'come'. We even had to remind the chef about the sauce he forgot. The rubbish bin placed directly in front of our food was a particularly memorable detail. A very interesting concept: Japanese Teppan-Yaki with Chinese Pop music playing in the background. Perhaps it's meant to fuel them with energy to keep moving. We ordered Double Set B, and the food was decent, quite standardized across all branches we've visited. Although there's no service charge or GST, I question if I would be willing to pay a service charge for decent service. I might...

You have to pay first before you can even get a seat. Perhaps this is a way to ensure that if customers change their minds, they cannot walk away from the restaurant. Portions are small. A small piece of salmon, no rice, no drinks, only cabbage and bean sprouts cost 18 SGD, which is a rip-off for a low-quality, mediocre taste, and bad service establishment. I also ordered a set which had chicken and seafood. I asked for no chili for the set and chili for my salmon, however, the reverse was done. As others mentioned, it's not a teppanyaki experience where one chef serves a group of people at a table, cooking for them. Instead, they cook in one area. When things are burnt out and become stinky, they toss it in front of you on a piece of aluminum foil. Hygiene, taste, service, price/value – whatever you can think of, it was unsatisfactory. I strongly recommend staying away and finding any other place to eat.

The place was packed with people, and we couldn't reserve a table as it was walk-in only with limited seats. The food choices are good, with a lot of mixes of meat and seafood. The price is affordable for one or two people to eat. The meal I had was Set C, and it included a free drink. It was a well-balanced meal, I would say. The food was served hot and was nice. I wanted spicy level medium. I would come here again. They accept cash and a few other payments too!

Food was great. For two people, we ordered a slice beef set. The food is cooked in batches. It was quite ridiculous that the chef did not serve in the order customers were seated but by his own convenience. Their staff should coordinate this better. Rice and soup were served first, followed by vegetables and then the meat. However, the duration between each serving was enough to turn the previous serving cold. The beef was surprisingly great and yummy. Overall experience can definitely be much better.
