The service was terrible and unhelpful. I didn't feel welcome at all. The food didn't taste nice either. It was served messily, dripping along the way to my table. The surroundings were dirty, and the staff kept using their phones and sitting around. The lady chef cooked in a very unhappy manner. Disappointing.

I was really disappointed with my recent visit here. The teppanyaki station was not cleaned properly between orders – the chef simply reused the same dirty cooking surface without wiping it down. I was shocked to see extra vegetables being left sitting on the hotplate, waiting for the next customer, instead of cooking portions fresh to order. This resulted in food that was overcooked and tasted far from appetizing. For teppanyaki, cleanliness and freshness are the basics, and this experience felt careless and unhygienic. Definitely the laziest teppanyaki service I have ever encountered. Not recommended.

Really disappointed with both the cashier and the food. The service felt unwelcoming, and even the chef didn’t seem approachable. I ordered the so-called “king prawn,” but the portion was very small, not worth the name. The prawns also weren’t properly cleaned. Considering the price we paid, it was a big letdown. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning — there are definitely better options at Causeway Point mall.

A great place for a quick and fuss-free dine-in. Their meats and seafood always seem fresh. Expect a quick meal, as the food distribution can be inconsistent. Portions seem smaller, especially when the place is crowded. The cooking can be salty as food is prepared in bulk, so be sure to let the cook know your preferred saltiness or spiciness level. They can customize, just ignore their sullen yet expressionless service.

Horrible attitude, horrible service. Expensive and definitely not worth the experience. The lady asked us whether we wanted spicy or non-spicy but did not wait for us to reply and just served us whatever. When she gave us the wrong flavour and we told her, she asked if we could switch seats instead. I don’t know who offended you guys, but if you are not happy being in the service line, then please find another job elsewhere.

The food is so-so, but the service and atmosphere are good. I asked for no spicy, but I think they forgot. They saw me struggling, and even though I didn't complain, they gave me a free Coke! Thank you for your generosity~

Is my first time in this restaurant n actually like it... Is the only teppan yaki that I can go arou

It's my first time at this restaurant and I actually liked it. It's the only teppanyaki place I can go to around Woodlands. The place is very crowded at lunch, dinner, and even on weekends. I actually went there before and couldn't get in because the queue was too long. The taste is delicious and spicy, just how I like it (they add cut chilli). The price is reasonable and affordable. Service is fast. Overall, it was just a good experience for me. I will surely be back again.

Tappen Yaki was an absolute delight! The food was incredibly delicious, and the entire dining experience was made even better by the live cooking show right in front of us. It was so fun to watch the chefs prepare everything with such skill and flair – it really added to the atmosphere. The highlight for me was definitely the stallion steak and the king prawn – both were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The accompanying soup and rice were also spot on, making the entire meal a perfect combination. Everything complemented each other beautifully.

Doreen the staff at teppanyaki causeway point was a staff that definitely deserves to be complimente

Doreen, the staff at Teppanyaki Causeway Point, is truly deserving of a compliment! She exhibited such professionalism and had a pleasant demeanor, serving everyone with a smile. I couldn’t help but notice her and how diligently she carried out her job. She needs to be recognized by management, as she brightened many customers' days at this store and definitely made mine.

While I enjoyed the delicious taste of the food, it was my first experience with teppanyaki. Howeve

While I enjoyed the delicious taste of the food, it was my first experience with teppanyaki. However, I found the counter staff a bit rude and lacking in customer service skills. Waiting around 15 minutes at an empty table before the chef started cooking was also a downside. Overall, it was okay, but I hope they address the areas where improvement is needed.
