We tried the mazesoba at this outlet and were disappointed. Although the taste was nice, the noodles were overcooked, making them hard to chew. We haven't had this problem at other outlets when trying their mazesoba.

Giving Halal Ramen a try. Plus: Despite not being able to use pork to stew the broth, the chicken-infused soup with the original and Black Mayu options were yummy and flavorful. Minus: The beef and egg were overcooked; the yolks weren't runny, and the noodles were uncharacteristically not springy. Felt very thirsty after the meal. Nice to try, just not craveable.

A halal Japanese restaurant! The food is not too bad. We tried the signature tempura (spicy). The tempura was hot and crisp, and it goes well with the spicy sauce. The rice quality is average; it's short grain but not full round grains. We also got the volcano chicken ramen, but it was way too spicy. The chicken meat was tender, and the ramen egg was flavorful. We'll try mazesoba or normal spicy ramen next time! Overall, the food is pretty decent for the price!

I recently dined at this Japanese restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The fried ebi don was disappointing; the shrimp wasn’t tender at all, making it hard to enjoy. Despite their claim as a Japanese food restaurant, they’re clearly not using authentic Japanese rice. This greatly impacted the texture and overall dish quality. The portion sizes were surprisingly small, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. The spicy ebi was simply sprinkled with chili powder on top rather than being properly coated or infused with spice, which felt lazy and uninspired. The hoji-cha had an off taste, far from the roasted, nutty flavor it's supposed to have. The miso soup was far too salty, overpowering the subtle flavors it should have. Overall, it was underwhelming, especially for a place marketing itself as authentic Japanese cuisine.

6/11/2024: The beef ramen tasted good. The tempura and fish were kind of warm, not hot. The gyoza was okay. Service staff was average. Overall, it was okay.

Glad we had a very appetizing dinner here. The food was fabulous and served fast. There's limited space. It's located next to Teppanyaki and Swensens on Level 2. The ramen was delicious 😋. Do get the gyoza and fried chicken too.

The prawns were big and quite tasty. The rice was not soft enough for me, and the strawberry pudding panna cotta was too sour! But, I liked the beef and fried cuttlefish.

Was better than expected. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The volcano ramen was spicier the more we ate it. The fish in it was tasty and soft. The beef gyu don was alright. Think Sukiya is better.
