It’s bad. Do not go. Go if you wish to pay a premium price for a poverty hotpot buffet. It’s gross. I paid $64 for two people because it was a Sunday.
Raw chicken was left out in the open. The chicken in the hotpot was bland.
Seafood was not fresh. It’s bad.
Beef was average. It’s the only item I have no complaints about, but there was nothing fantastic. They were just beef slices.
The sauce bar is pathetic. No coriander, no spring onion. The sesame sauce they used was watery and diluted. It’s just gross in general.
Their fried and processed food had been there for hours. The fries were so bad. The pizza had become cardboard-like.
Their “drinks” section was just some random syrup and tea. Houjicha, Lemon Tea, and I don’t know what else. They don’t even have a drink machine. This is the first Japanese hotpot buffet I’ve ever eaten in my life with no drink machine. I paid $64 for this.
Just avoid this place. It was a waste of my money. There are much better buffet options around Westgate and Jem. Google them.

I had a disappointing experience at Tokyo Shokudo, which I believe is the weakest link among Japan Food Holdings' self-developed brands. In comparison, Ajisen Ramen and Yakiniku Shokudo offer far superior quality and a better dining experience.
I visited Tokyo Shokudo yesterday for lunch after a tiring day at Rainforest Asia. I was initially tempted by the hotpot place next door, but upon seeing the long queue, I opted for Tokyo Shokudo since there was no wait. Now I understand why — the quality simply doesn’t meet expectations.
The hotpot selection was quite limited, with only a few items available, as seen in the attached photo: Chinese cabbage, button mushrooms, chicken sausage, gyoza, fish cake, chicken meat (not sliced finely), chicken meatballs, scallops, asari, and a few others. The side dishes were somewhat better, mainly comprising two types of sushi, fries, karaage chicken, pizza, and an omelette with tomato sauce. While the sides were not bad, they didn’t quite compensate for the main course.
The table was quite small, making it uncomfortable to enjoy the meal as the individual hotpot already took up a lot of space. Additionally, the stove for the hotpot seemed problematic, with staff frequently needing to come back to relight the fire.
Overall, the hotpot market is highly competitive, and given the standard of the food and the expensive prices, I, as a consumer, do not see myself returning. I hope they can take this feedback constructively and make improvements.

Tried their all-you-can-eat hot pot. The buffet spread, including raw meat, was left out in the open with many flies. It didn't seem very hygienic, nor did it appear they were prepared for this new concept. The food quality was mediocre at best, but the staff were efficient and attentive in serving.

They charge SGD7.9 for Lychee Lemon Mint Tea in a jar, but they give you the tea in a regular water cup. See the pictures and never come here. The manager says there is nothing wrong with that; it's a clear misrepresentation and overpriced.

Mediocre. Ordered the must-try Tendon and Seafood ramen. The food tasted bland. For the price, it's passable.
