First time here... the ambience is not bad. If you want to pay by cash, you have to order at the cashier, or you can pay via card when ordering using the QR code at the table. The bowl serving was decent. At first, the soup broth tasted a bit like mee soto, hmm... strange. The beef was very tender. The oyster mushroom and the braised egg were nice. They came as an add-on for $5. The sour plum drink was nice too. There's a big glass panel to see how the hand-made noodles are made. I wished each table came with a fork and spoon as well, for those who are not familiar with eating with chopsticks.

We ordered the signature beef noodle, both dry and soup versions, and they tasted good. Personally, I liked the dry version with the thick flat noodles. They have different noodle thicknesses to choose from. We ordered the large bowl, and they were quite generous with the beef portion. We will visit again. Updated (2/3): I visited again recently and ordered their signature beef noodle. I was kind of disappointed this time. Was it because I was too hungry on my last visit? The portion was less this time, and the taste was not as flavorful and too sweet.

tl;dr - Tasty food, but you'll feel super thirsty afterward. The QR ordering system is odd, and there's a 1% service charge added to the bill before the 9% GST. Food: The mutton skewers ($2.50++ each, min. 2 to order) were tender and tasty. The noodles were freshly pulled, and the beef didn't have a gamey taste ($10.90++ per bowl). However, we felt extremely thirsty towards the end of our meal and had to drink over 1 litre of water afterward (and were still thirsty). This likely indicates a good amount of MSG in our food. It's a shame because we thought the food tasted decent. Service: The staff team looked overworked, and the QR ordering system was subpar. You're forced to input your credit card details, or your order won't be submitted. When we asked the staff for alternative payment methods (Kris+ / ShopBack), we were told to go to the front counter to queue and submit our order (a ~5-10 minute wait because others were also ordering food at the counter). The only service received was the food delivered to our table. Note that the price shown on the menu is subject to a 1% service charge, and then the bill is subject to 9% GST. Atmosphere: Very crowded, but we noticed that some seats offer a view into the kitchen where the staff pulls the noodles on the spot.

My go-to place for a comforting bowl of beef noodle soup; I've been back many times. The serving is hearty, the place is spotlessly clean, and the service is great. Great value for money! Just a tiny feedback - it would be great if you could cut down on the salt level for the soup.

The broth is rich and flavourful, providing a comforting and satisfying taste without being overly salty or spicy. These noodles are a highlight – freshly made to order, they have a perfect chewy texture that complements the broth well. Watching the noodles being pulled adds an authentic touch to the dining experience. The slices of beef are tender and generously portioned, absorbing the broth’s flavours well, making each bite delicious. Knowing that the restaurant is Halal-certified is a big plus for Muslim diners looking for authentic Chinese cuisine.

One thing I like about Tongue Tip Lanzhou Beef Noodles is that you get to choose from a wide variety

One thing I like about Tongue Tip Lanzhou Beef Noodles is the wide variety of noodle types you can choose from. As for the food itself, I'd say it's decent Chinese-style ramen. The broth and noodles are alright, nothing mind-blowing, but definitely better than your usual kopitiam or hawker centre version. Overall, this is a good place to pop by if you're craving Lanzhou beef noodles or a quick ramen fix without expecting anything too exceptional. It does the job, and sometimes that's good enough.

Great food, love the noodles and soup. The beef skewers are super tender too, though they could be a bit spicier. Great service from the Indian(?) worker (didn't manage to catch his name). He noticed that we were sharing a bowl, so he took the initiative to provide two small bowls and scissors. Honestly, we didn't really need the small bowls, which is why we didn't ask, but the fact that he noticed and did something about it was impressive. Another time I went to order takeaway, I asked about the $9.90 set, and the guy told me the Jurong outlet didn't have it. However, right beside us was a gigantic poster showing the $9.90 set promotion. I didn't mind it too much, because maybe he's new. My advice is to check properly yourself before ordering, as some of their workers don't seem to bother telling us about ongoing promotions.
