Texas Lone Star operates as Singapore's accessible halal-certified Western dining destination, specializing in hearty American-style cuisine that brings authentic steakhouse flavors to neighborhood food court settings across strategic heartland locations including Jalan Kayu, Bedok North, and Woodlands Vista Point. Unlike typical expensive steakhouse establishments, Texas Lone Star has positioned itself as the democratizing force that makes quality Western food accessible to working families and budget-conscious diners without compromising on portion sizes or ingredient quality. Their halal certification ensures that their premium Western offerings—from perfectly grilled steaks to their famous fish and chips—remain inclusive to Singapore's diverse religious communities, while their commitment to using premium ingredients demonstrates their refusal to sacrifice quality despite their affordable pricing strategy that makes steakhouse-style dining accessible to broader socioeconomic segments.

The hearty menu at Texas Lone Star celebrates American Western cuisine through generous portions and bold flavors, featuring their acclaimed fish and chips that customers consistently praise as the best halal version in Singapore—crispy, tasty, huge, and remarkably affordable compared to upscale restaurant alternatives. Their steak offerings showcase tender, juicy preparations that exceed expectations for food court dining, accompanied by exceptional sides like perfectly seasoned fries and creamy mashed potatoes that are consistently served hot and flavorful, creating complete Western dining experiences that rival much more expensive establishments. The menu balances classic favorites like grilled chicken, lamb preparations, beef steaks, and Italian-influenced pasta dishes, all prepared with above-average quality standards that have earned recognition for delivering restaurant-caliber Western food in casual, accessible settings that serve families and individuals seeking satisfying meals without premium pricing.

Texas Lone Star's success lies in their unique positioning as quality Western food democratizers who prove that authentic American steakhouse flavors can be delivered in neighborhood food court environments without sacrificing the generous portions and bold tastes that define satisfying Western cuisine. Their strategic placement in heartland locations ensures that quality Western dining becomes part of daily life for residents who might otherwise be excluded from expensive restaurant experiences, while their consistent focus on fresh preparation and premium ingredients maintains standards that distinguish them from typical food court offerings. The brand's ability to balance authentic Western cooking techniques with community accessibility, combined with their halal certification that serves Singapore's largest religious demographic, has established them as neighborhood institutions that bring steakhouse satisfaction to everyday dining, proving that quality Western cuisine should be accessible to all communities regardless of economic background or location preferences.

Gave 2 stars because the food is not bad, but it's on the pricier side. Lost another star for service. The female counter lady had an attitude like she hated the whole universe, lol. If you're not happy, don't work here.

We, as customers, just came back from work and wanted to bring home some very nice and delicious food to eat with our families. We did not expect an unpleasant welcome from your workers at Sengkang Square Kopitiam. Kindly send them for training to greet with a smile at least. I didn't have any issues with them, nor did I scold them, and there wasn't even one customer queuing. I was the first one to order, and my request was clear. We would like to see improvements in the service. Overall, the food was okay.

The chicken chop with mushroom sauce for $9.80 served at Pasir Ris hawker centre is way too expensive. This defeats the purpose of budget meals at hawker centres, which is supported by the government. The portion is small; if it were in a coffeeshop, it would be acceptable for the price. The food tastes average.

Horrible stall with an extremely long waiting time of up to 30 minutes in the evening. The stall assistant took his own sweet time, lacked proper food safety hygiene, and wolf-whistled at customers. Western food from hell; I just gave up on my food.

This stall is under Fish & Co., and the prices are quite high for a coffee shop setting. I ordered the fish and chips and deep-fried chicken steak. The fish in the menu photo looked like a big fillet similar to what you'd get at Fish & Co., but what I actually received were three thin, skinny strips of fish. Both dishes were extremely greasy. The fish was slightly better; after trying my best, I could finish it, but the chicken steak was so oily it made me feel nauseous halfway through, and I couldn't finish it. The sour cream sauce had no flavor at all; it tasted watered down. Honestly, it was a terrible experience eating food like this. There’s not a single good stall in this kopitiam. Really disappointing!!

Probably the best among hawker stalls in Singapore. For less than $10, I had fish and chips. It was a good-sized portion with nice fries. Simple, and good! 4 and a half stars. I'll come here and eat again.

The fried chicken steak here is a game-changer—always crispy, flavorful, and served with a perfect side of rice. Despite the bustling food court setting, this spot consistently dishes out mouthwatering delights that keep you coming back for more.

Ordered the garlic butter chicken and it was good. The fish and chips were also nice. Service was also good. Decent price for the portions. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. Will definitely go back to order and try the rest.
