The hot Milo is terrible – it's just a lot of hot water.

Poly made my brain short-circuit.

Still an amazing place to be, even when you are not a student! The prices and taste seem to have been frozen in time, as it's so good yet affordable. Really happy to have visited last week and will do so more often in the future too! Do order their breakfast set and SPICY nuggets please!

I really loved the Mala and western food here. The Mala is affordable, and the uncle, even though he seems a bit busy, didn't overcharge me. ($4.50 including rice). Furthermore, the western food is insane for the price. I only paid $5.20 (tip: get set C! egg, rice, fries, and coleslaw all on one plate). The chicken patty is not small either!

It's canteen food, so you're not expecting much. The ban mian is halal though, so give that a try if you want. It's tasty and I'm quite happy with it.

Short Circuit has a total of 6 stalls: a drink store, Cai Png, Mala, Western food, Malay cuisine, and Ban Mian (Halal). The prices of most food at Short Circuit are cheaper compared to other canteens located in TP. There are plenty of seats in this canteen, but during certain times, the crowd can be overwhelming, and you might have trouble locating seats, especially if you are in a large group (between 1pm to 2pm especially). There are some seats at the back of the canteen which are a great place to chill at after eating, especially if you are waiting for your next class. However, some of these seats would be affected by the rain if it happens. The fans in the canteen were faulty for extended periods before (roughly 3 weeks when the weather was at its hottest). They are now fixed, but it was not a pleasant experience having to endure the blistering heat.
