We got their [drink name 1] ([percentage 1]%) & [drink name 2] ([percentage 2]%, [topping description 1] [topping description 2])!
Creamy, smooth & indulgent - definitely a refreshing cup of drink for this sweltering weather we're dealing with everyday. While we didn't know what to order, we got recommendations and I must say, the staff there really knew their stuff! The sugar level picked was perfect and the topping recommended was the main surprise as we sipped on our drinks - bouncy, non-starchy & had a great bite to it; it just had me craving for more. (My guess: brown pearls = white konjac jelly coated in brown sugar)
On the flip side, itโll be great if the drink had a stronger coconut taste, and perhaps had some coconut bits inside. All in all, we enjoyed the shakes and will reorder if weโre nearby!

I had the Putu Piring/Kueh Tutu Coconut Shake with Coconut Jelly ($7.30).
NGL, it looks a lot like your usual brown sugar milk tea at first, but it's so much more 'gao' (rich/intense) than that.
I love the local influence here, so that's a major plus. More importantly, it isn't crazy sweet, even though it's brown sugar-based, so it doesn't get jelak (cloying) for me, at least.
BUT
The quintessential kueh tutu taste is a little lacking, and the gula melaka flavour was a lot more pronounced than the other components, to be honest.
Then @munchcrunchrun's basic instincts kicked in and she got the classic Original Cocoshake with Coconut Jelly ($6.80).
Sufficiently creamy too, without the coconuttiness being too overpowering.
BUT
We expected better from the coconut jelly topping; we thought it would have actual coconut bits or shavings, but it ended up tasting more like a konjac jelly.

Tried their Original Cocoshake and their Lychee Fruity Cocoshake! I never thought lychee could go so well with coconut; I love the refreshing taste, and you can't stop after the first sip.
