Really good mutton soup with tender meat. Due to the recent CNA feature video, the queue has massively extended. It was a 1.5-hour wait at 1 pm. Please take note that even with an assistant, Uncle cannot cope with the sudden influx of people, so expect the waiting time to be long. This is not a fast-food restaurant, but a humble hawker stall serving hearty meals. Also, as mentioned in the video, he has a limited amount of soup he can offer, so don't expect it to be available until midnight. We tried to buy this three times – come early (before 6 pm at least!). This is as of 22/8/25; try to come as early as 10 am if possible to avoid disappointment. Let's be understanding towards hawkers and not undermine their skills and food based on earlier reviews that have nothing to do with the food.

Lamb shank briyani
The moment the steaming plate of biryani is set down, it's clear this isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. Aromatic basmati rice, infused with a symphony of spices, forms the bed for the star of the show—a succulent lamb shank that practically melts off the bone. The lamb is marinated with a blend of traditional spices and slow-cooked to perfection, ensuring each bite is both tender and flavourful.
The layers of rice and lamb are punctuated with bursts of saffron and caramelized onions, adding a depth of flavour that is both complex and incredibly satisfying. The careful balance of spices, from the earthiness of cumin to the heat of chilies, ensures no single note overwhelms the palate. Instead, they work in harmony to create a dish that is as nuanced as it is indulgent.

After watching the video on CNA Insider's YouTube channel, we came here to try. The soup is very delicious and tasty. You can really feel the spices and the mutton taste. The meat portion wasn't that big though, and it was quite difficult to separate the meat from the bone. Next time, we'll consider the briyani and mutton meat soup.

Saturday: Fully sold out before 6:30 PM. The biryani and mutton leg soup sold out before 5:45 PM (I'm not sure of the exact time). I managed to get one mutton meat soup and one mutton stomach soup at 6 PM. The meat was soft and the soup was not oily.

A hearty, beautifully-balanced bowl of Indian mutton soup that produces a symphony of meaty, aromatic flavours in the mouth from the first spoonful to the last drop. The various meat parts are prepared well without gaminess and cooked to retain the taste of spices and herbs from the soup. The stomach is slick and smooth, while the meat on the ribs is soft, tender, and falls off the bones. Queues can be long, and food may be sold out by the evening or earlier.
