Halal Food in Bird Paradise
Bird Paradise opened on 8 May 2023 at Mandai Lake Road, replacing Jurong Bird Park and becoming the newest addition to Mandai Wildlife Reserve alongside Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and River Wonders. Spanning 17 hectares, the world-class avian park houses over 3,500 birds from more than 400 species within eight large walk-through aviaries, each themed to represent different regions and habitats. The park features double the number of walk-in aviaries compared to its predecessor, with larger, more naturalistic environments allowing birds greater freedom of movement. Visitors can experience feeding sessions with starlings, African hornbills, barbets, pelicans, and lories for eight dollars per session. The Sky Amphitheatre hosts two avian presentations, Predators on Wings and Wings of the World, showcasing the remarkable abilities of various bird species. Bird Paradise plays a crucial conservation role, providing homes for some of the world's most threatened species including Philippine Eagles, Negros Bleeding-heart Doves, Straw-headed Bulbuls, Black-winged Mynas, and Blue-throated Macaws. The park operates daily from 9am to 6pm, with admission priced at 48 dollars for adults, 33 dollars for children aged 3 to 12, and 20 dollars for senior citizens. The facility represents Singapore's continued commitment to wildlife conservation and education within world-class zoological settings.
