Halal Food in East Coast Park
Positioned at 902 East Coast Park, this building is located within Singapore's largest and most beloved coastal recreation area. East Coast Park spans 185 hectares of entirely reclaimed land, representing one of Singapore's most ambitious land reclamation projects. The park officially opened in 1976 after the government completed reclaiming land off the coast from Katong to Changi, swiftly becoming a cherished escape for residents and tourists seeking seaside recreation. The park has evolved significantly since its opening, with major developments including a sailing school established in 1980, the extension of cycling tracks to Changi Point in 1981-1982, and the East Coast Recreation Centre opening in 1982. Recent additions include the Cyclist Park with two dedicated cycling circuits opened in 2019, and Coastal PlayGrove, which replaced the former Big Splash site in 2021. Themed "Recreation for All," the park offers over 15 kilometres of cycling and skating tracks, barbecue pits, chalets, water sports facilities, and Bedok Jetty for fishing. The park attracts more than 7 million visits annually, serving as Singapore's premier coastal destination for leisure, sports, and family gatherings.
