Pretty decent satay; I always grab a handful when at Newton hawker centre. The chicken skewers are meaty and soft, and the shrimp satay are of decent size with a good, fresh taste. The peanut dipping sauce is comforting but could use a bit more fragrance, in my opinion. Waiting times of 20 minutes when it's busy are quite acceptable.

Very delicious meat skewers, marinated super well and cooked just right - juicy, I'd say. Amongst the satay stalls in SG, I like theirs the most. Sabby is very friendly and she takes advance orders with payment, so if you arrive at peak hour, it's ready. They offer prawn skewers and also beef satay.

Came for dinner and ordered the chicken, beef, and babat (tripe in Malay) satay. There was a small queue, but it was fast-moving. The uncle at the storefront was attentive and friendly. We received our order within 5-7 minutes. The meat on the chicken, beef, and babat was tender to the bite, but not overly so. The marinade was just right and not overpowering. For your information, the meat does not have a 'char'. We were given three small bowls of peanut sauce, which was more than sufficient for two people. The peanut sauce was not watery, flavorful, and had plenty of grated/ground peanut pieces. Overall, it was a good experience, and we'll definitely be coming back.

Not a waste of a trip, I can say. The taste was superb! Not too sweet. Ordered mutton and chicken. Everything was balanced with no 'fishy' smell from both meats. Only the peanut gravy wasn't so creamy and spicy for my liking, hehe. A recommended place to try!

It's not stated on the signboard, but you're not restricted to ordering by the recommended sets (this seems to be a common practice amongst Malay BBQ stalls in general).
In fact, ordering Sets A, B, C, D, E doesn't save any money. The set prices are simply the sum of the ala carte prices:
Chicken/ Mutton/ Beef Satay 90 cents ea (which is cheaper than other stalls' $1, but no pork!!)
Prawn Satay $2 ea
Min 5 pc (not stated)
Otah 90 cents
An elder man can be rude and scold if you're standing there trying to decide whether and how many to order.
Also, check the total as the stall can make errors in their calculation.
