Stingray - not really grilled or barbecued. Sambal sotong - overcooked and chewy. Prawn omelette - still quite decent. Seafood fried rice (Medium size) - taste is still alright. Can still try this place, but there are definitely better stalls here.

An auntie (likely a crew member) became very rude just because we unintentionally spilled something on her laminated menu pamphlet and decided to order other food. This kind of attitude shouldn't be practiced in the F&B business. Customers will simply get annoyed and will steer clear of your stall.

We really enjoyed the food; it was very delicious and worth the price. Five stars for the spicy crab – it was very big and flavorful. The aunty is very nice and friendly. A 100% highly recommended must-try restaurant.

After years away, I finally came back to Singapore—and right after my flight, I went straight to Newton Food Centre. I was missing local food so much, and this place did not disappoint! The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, the BBQ stingray was full of flavor with just the right spice, and the fried rice was delicious and comforting. I also love that they use proper plates instead of styrofoam plates like most stalls. If you’re craving authentic local flavors in a relaxed hawker setting, Pirate Seafood is a must-visit!

Food was great! We ordered tiger shrimp, cereal prawns, and veggies. Friendly lady.

Very good, with a fair price and good service. We just had to wait a bit for the food.
