Portions are decent. The Pan Seared Halibut's skin isn't crispy enough. The Fish & Chips had a perfect fish portion, but a few more fries would have made it better. The Truffle Mac & Cheese was a little too watery. The sauces could be a lot better.

2nd visit: Went back again and tried their steamed seabream whole fish, but when the dish was served, the fishy smell was very strong. It smelled like a damp cloth. We tried the fish and it tasted very sourish and definitely not fresh. We gave feedback to the staff, and they kindly replaced it with another dish, allowing us to choose barramundi. The service recovery was commendable, but I hope their kitchen can maintain the freshness of their fish properly. Fish burger bread is not bad. The fish in the burger is haddock. Corn is not bad. Thanks for the complimentary items (corn and cauliflower) due to the not-fresh seabream served earlier. 1st visit: Amazing service by staff Nani. Kudos! The 2-course set meal is worth it. The battered chicken is yummy. Deep-fried cauliflower was quite tasteless, but the spicy mentaiko sauce provided made it not too bad overall. Battercatch may want to consider letting customers top up for other types of fish, as the 2-course set meal only allows choosing Dory fish and chips. We ordered haddock fish and chips (which was more expensive), and the portion size looked smaller than the dory fish and chips from another table. The chips (fries) are nice too. The mashed peas (menu indicated mint pea, I'm not sure why) are nice. The pan-seared barramundi whole fish is nice too. The skin is crispy, but the potatoes were a bit sourish. The creamy cloud float tasted like a less-sweet root beer float with cream on top. Average. Not fascinating.

I liked the grilled fish with clams and fresh vegetables, which made for a healthy choice. The 2-course meal was a very good deal with generous portions. The service staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely, happiness comes in waves, and we will sail back for more.

What a gem in this part of Singapore! The food was good — perfectly crispy, and the sauce was delicious. The place is super spacious, which made the whole experience even more comfortable and relaxing. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Honestly, such a great vibe and value — loved it!

Had great fish and chips. The fries were great and the fish was fresh. I enjoyed the ice lemon tea, and we also ordered the lychee tea. For starters, I just got coleslaw. It was delicious with no complaints. Service was fast too.

Ordered the lunch set: dory fish & chips with Caesar salad and the chicken mac & cheese! The fried cauliflower was also very good and went well with the sauce provided. Portions are generous, would recommend getting more people to share :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at BatterCatch in Orchard Central, and I must say, the food was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, every dish was a testament to quality ingredients and skilled preparation. The menu offers a delightful range of options, and everything we tried was incredibly flavorful. The batter on their signature dishes was light, crispy, and not at all greasy, which is often a challenge to perfect. It's clear that the kitchen takes great care in their cooking, and the results speak for themselves. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation of the food was also very appealing.
