Crave Nasi Lemak has established itself as Singapore's beloved halal-certified chain, bringing the renowned flavours of The Original Adam Road Nasi Lemak by Selera Rasa to food lovers across the island. With 43 locations spanning popular malls like NEX, Bedok Mall, Jurong Point, and Junction 8, this restaurant has gained recognition from notable figures including PM Lee, the Sultan of Brunei, and the President of Indonesia, cementing its reputation as a must-visit destination for authentic Malaysian cuisine.
What sets Crave apart is their innovative approach to the traditional nasi lemak, featuring fragrant basmati rice instead of conventional short-grain rice. The long basmati grains create a light, fluffy texture with a delicate coconut milk fragrance that perfectly absorbs the accompanying flavours without becoming clumpy. Their signature sambal chili, crafted with both Indian and Japanese chilies, strikes an ideal balance between sweet and spicy, making it accessible even to those with lower spice tolerance while delivering authentic bold flavours.
The menu showcases signature dishes like the 2-piece Spicy Chicken Wings Nasi Lemak and Nasi Lemak Royale, complemented by traditional sides including beef rendang, curry chicken, otah, and sayur lodeh. With affordable pricing ranging from -0 per dish and convenient delivery options through GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo, Crave successfully combines traditional Malaysian heritage with modern convenience and accessibility.

Wanted to have a quick dinner at 6:10 PM, but the shop had run out of normal fried chicken and satay from their new menu.
Ended up waiting for 30 minutes. I was annoyed because I was rushing for time. This is the worst Crave experience I've ever had; usually, they are quick!
A moment later, workers seemed to be having an argument with management (I think). They were talking about running out of everything and customers coming in with nothing to offer them. I'm not sure what was happening. Then the shop was left unguarded, with all employees going elsewhere, LOL. I was like, what just happened? Someone's TGIF definitely got ruined...

I had breakfast with some friends here. It was pretty hard finding any positives about the meal. The coconut rice didn’t taste of any coconut, and the fried chicken didn’t taste like it had been marinated; it was really dry. Honestly, the worst nasi lemak I have had in some time.

The chili sambal was decent. Unfortunately, the coconut rice was sadly lacking – it was extremely clumpy and soggy. It was as good as eating a kutupat or glutinous rice dumpling. Please see the pictures to see all the clumps of soggy rice.
Hard pass for next time.

The rendang beef and sayur lodeh were ice cold. Only when I gave feedback to the staff did she turn the warmer on. She offered me a replacement fish fillet, which was good, but I had to throw my rendang beef and vegetables away.

A group of us (11 people) went to this Nasi Lemak shop for lunch yesterday. The manager was so friendly that they let us try their new dishes, satay and Ayam Rempah! I must say the chicken was full of rempah flavour, and the satay portion was generous. We will definitely recommend our colleagues or friends to drop by again. Thank you, Mr. Manager!

Quality and portion-wise, this outlet appears really well maintained, which is good. They also have affordable drink options. Please remember to wipe the tables every once in a while though! I went for dine-in during a not-so-busy hour (5pm) and a lot of the tables were still dirty or had stains on them. Service was nothing notable, so my overall experience was alright.

I went here for an early dinner today. My left hand is injured, and I'm wearing an arm support that limits my arm's movement to prevent further injury.
When I collected my food and drink, I may not have noticed I was holding the tray unevenly, and my drink dropped on the floor, making a mess.
I was so embarrassed, but the guy at the counter (who also served my food) just asked me to take a seat first. He immediately replaced my drink, checked on me to see if I was okay, and then quietly cleaned the floor.
He is so thoughtful and did not make me feel bad at all.
Thank you very much! And again, I'm really sorry for the accident and the mess I made.

Was here for lunch on a Sunday. The nasi lemak rice was hot and fluffy, and the chilli was spicy. The chicken wing was tasty and crispy; it would have been better if it was still warm or freshly fried and hot. The Teh Tarik was not very hot and tasted a little different from the ones I usually buy from hawker centres. It wasn't too sweet, but I didn't really like the taste. I tried the newly introduced fried chicken, Ayam Berempah, for the very first time. It was freshly fried, hence very hot and crispy. I personally feel it would taste much better if the chicken skin was a little less dry and the chicken was a bit more moist and juicy. I didn't try the satay, so I'm not sure how it tasted. The manager on duty was very nice to us, and we had an enjoyable lunch there.

Crave has consistently been amazing. Today they had a new item on the menu - Chicken Satay. The meat is very tender, juicy, and easy to chew. The flavour is awesome and well balanced with the satay sauce. Check out the size! One stick can easily rival five normal sticks of satay. Indra, the stall manager, was nice and polite in sharing information about this new creation with me!
