The staff really can't cut it. During the dinner rush, food is supposed to be already cooked with no prep needed. There were no big orders or anything, yet we waited 30 minutes. The staff moved so slowly, it seemed like they just didn't care. I went once a few weeks back, wrote in, and got a reply saying the staff member was new. A few weeks later, I ordered and waited 45 minutes. Absolutely horrendous service and waiting time for a place that sells food that is literally take and go. Avoid this branch at all costs; I'd rather go upstairs and eat at Lee Wee Brothers than wait 45 minutes here.

This is my first time ordering at Crave, and it was a bad experience. Their ikan bilis was hard as rock and even hurt my gums. My ice teh tarik didn't taste right at all. Lastly, the cashier didn't say a single word to me – no "thank you," "what would you like to order?" "drinks?" or "anything else?" I had to just tell them what I wanted. lmao

There's something seriously wrong with the sambal. It was watery and tasted like Lingham chili sauce, and not in a good way. The rice was plasticky, and the chicken was over-fried. To be fair, it was still slightly moist inside, and the marinade had penetrated well. I also tried the bee hoon with curry chicken. Don't order it. I don't know how anyone can mess up curry and fried bee hoon.

I was there for dinner yesterday evening and was attended to by a middle-aged lady. I found her service rather rigid. I asked if I could change the egg to something else of the same value, but she said it was not allowed. Perhaps it's company policy, and I respected that.
Halfway through my dinner, she started raising her voice at an elderly man. She stormed out from the staff counter and confronted him, yelling that the food wasn't his. I really don't see the reason behind the rudeness, as it's quite common to take the wrong food when there are many customers ordering and waiting at the same time.
In the process of leaving her post to confront the elderly man, she slammed the counter barrier. There was another couple nearby with a baby in a stroller. The loud bang frightened the baby, and the little one started crying. Without an apology to the couple, this staff member went back behind the counter and dropped the barrier loudly again, showing her anger and unhappiness with the elderly man.
I just feel her actions were rather distasteful, and I really hope she could be switched to a different position in the restaurant, perhaps to the backend, so she doesn't have to be on the front line serving customers. She seemed miserable attending to customers. I believe such an arrangement would make customers and herself happier, and she wouldn't tarnish the company's reputation.

The rice was so sticky. I ordered the Royale and two chicken wing sets, and all the rice was sticky. I'm super disappointed. Normally, the rice grains are long and separate, but today it really wasn't good. I thought I was eating ketupat. The Nasi Lemak isn't cheap, so at least maintain the standard. We consumers are willing to pay, but please keep up the standard.
