Crave Nasi Lemak has established itself as Singapore's beloved halal-certified chain, bringing the renowned flavours of The Original Adam Road Nasi Lemak by Selera Rasa to food lovers across the island. With 43 locations spanning popular malls like NEX, Bedok Mall, Jurong Point, and Junction 8, this restaurant has gained recognition from notable figures including PM Lee, the Sultan of Brunei, and the President of Indonesia, cementing its reputation as a must-visit destination for authentic Malaysian cuisine.

What sets Crave apart is their innovative approach to the traditional nasi lemak, featuring fragrant basmati rice instead of conventional short-grain rice. The long basmati grains create a light, fluffy texture with a delicate coconut milk fragrance that perfectly absorbs the accompanying flavours without becoming clumpy. Their signature sambal chili, crafted with both Indian and Japanese chilies, strikes an ideal balance between sweet and spicy, making it accessible even to those with lower spice tolerance while delivering authentic bold flavours.

The menu showcases signature dishes like the 2-piece Spicy Chicken Wings Nasi Lemak and Nasi Lemak Royale, complemented by traditional sides including beef rendang, curry chicken, otah, and sayur lodeh. With affordable pricing ranging from -0 per dish and convenient delivery options through GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo, Crave successfully combines traditional Malaysian heritage with modern convenience and accessibility.

This is my first time ordering at Crave, and it was a bad experience. Their ikan bilis was hard as rock and even hurt my gums. My ice teh tarik didn't taste right at all. Lastly, the cashier didn't say a single word to me – no "thank you," "what would you like to order?" "drinks?" or "anything else?" I had to just tell them what I wanted. lmao

The staff were friendly and apologetic for the long wait. However, I reckon having only two staff to man the stall during peak lunch hour is rather taxing on them. Not only do they need to handle bulk orders from Grab and walk-in customers, but I hope there will be better staff allocation in the future.

Staff Wati asked me to wait 20 minutes. When I came back, she hadn't even done her job and kept walking around. I'm not going to eat here anymore. Lousy service. This is the last time I'll patronize this place. No one was at the counter. This is too much.

Tasty chicken cutlet, with good-tasting sambal chilli. It's a bit on the pricier side, but decent enough to fill an empty stomach.

I guess different outlet have their own way. Not good for CRAVE as whole organisation as lack of Man

I guess different outlets have their own way. This is not good for CRAVE as a whole organisation due to a lack of management in ensuring the same standard of end product. It's been a while since I enjoyed a complete and fresh Nasi Lemak from Crave, particularly from the outlets in T2 or T3 Changi Airport. Today was a GREAT disappointment. The rice was tasteless (and I'm not positive I have COVID-19) – it lacked coconut fragrance and taste. The sambal that came with it was pathetic; I think there was only 1 TEASPOON. You have failed to understand the basic concept of Nasi Lemak. I guess I will not be back there, which means no bulk orders or corporate orders over lunch. So disappointed with the whole issue. # After my post and reading other reviews, I guess you guys are not interested in churning out GOOD FOOD. Despite negative feedback, still no recovery has been made.

Crave has evolved through the years. The new concept is open from 7 am to 10 pm at CCP. It's great to have breakfast before work, especially at 7 am. Advice: Can the owner ensure staff clear unwanted food quickly, especially when there are no customers? House flies were landing on our food, and we were busy trying to chase them away. Just install some preventive measures against pests.

First time trying Crave. Ordered mutton nasi lemak and liked the mutton gravy (sweet type) and chilli (not too spicy). Perhaps a little more santan in the rice would be nice.
