I was there for dinner yesterday evening and was attended to by a middle-aged lady. I found her service rather rigid. I asked if I could change the egg to something else of the same value, but she said it was not allowed. Perhaps it's company policy, and I respected that.
Halfway through my dinner, she started raising her voice at an elderly man. She stormed out from the staff counter and confronted him, yelling that the food wasn't his. I really don't see the reason behind the rudeness, as it's quite common to take the wrong food when there are many customers ordering and waiting at the same time.
In the process of leaving her post to confront the elderly man, she slammed the counter barrier. There was another couple nearby with a baby in a stroller. The loud bang frightened the baby, and the little one started crying. Without an apology to the couple, this staff member went back behind the counter and dropped the barrier loudly again, showing her anger and unhappiness with the elderly man.
I just feel her actions were rather distasteful, and I really hope she could be switched to a different position in the restaurant, perhaps to the backend, so she doesn't have to be on the front line serving customers. She seemed miserable attending to customers. I believe such an arrangement would make customers and herself happier, and she wouldn't tarnish the company's reputation.

I ordered the party platter but was disappointed that the order came more than an hour late. One platter was a different size than the rest. The platter was flimsy and fell off easily, causing food to spill on the floor. The presentation was not at its best and not like what was shown in the picture. Only the rice and fish still tasted good; the rest was far from expectation. The chicken wing batter was thick, and the egg was hard. I requested serving plates but was not given any. I hope CRAVE improves on its plating.

The service standard really kills it all. A Malay boy was manning the stall, and I saw a few boxes of pre-packed rice on the table. When I ordered a takeaway chicken set, he took one of the pre-packed boxes and added my sides to the rice. When I took over the box, I didn't feel any warmth underneath, which meant the rice was cold. I asked for hot rice instead, and he responded, "All the rice are cold." Seriously? Isn't it cold because you dished the rice out from the warmer or rice cooker even before any customers ordered them? There wasn't any customer dining in or waiting to order; I was the only one. No more patronage from me and my family.

Many brunch options around, and the food was okay. However, it seems the standard has dropped. The rice was not as fragrant as before, yet the price has gone up. There's a shortage of staff, and they seem overloaded and unable to cope during lunchtime. Not many seats available, and it's not suitable for larger groups.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a poor customer service experience at your outlet.
During my recent visit, I approached the cashier to place my order. I spoke politely and asked if there were any other drink options available, as I had seen others with iced kopi, which I couldn’t find on the menu. There were no other customers queuing at the time, so I was surprised when the staff member (the aunty) at the cashier responded in a very impatient and rude manner. She raised her voice and shouted, “ICE BANDUNG! ICE KOPI! ICE…”, which was unnecessary and uncalled for.
If the drink options are listed on the menu, a simple and professional response directing me there would have sufficed. If they are not, I believe it’s reasonable for a customer to ask. Regardless, there’s no excuse for being shouted at.
It’s disappointing to be treated this way first thing in the morning. I enjoy the nasi lemak at Crave and usually look forward to visiting, but this kind of attitude spoils the entire experience. I hope the management can look into this and ensure that staff are trained to treat customers with basic courtesy and professionalism.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
