Visiting from Australia, my friends recommended this place. I tried it and honestly, I don't know what's so special about it. The sambal was watery and too sweet, not the type of nasi lemak sambal that I prefer. The sambal portion given was also too little. I asked for extra and they packed a tiny scoop in a separate mini cup and charged me for it. Portions were small, but the price was on the high side. I wouldn't go there again. Overrated.

Went there last night around 10pm, wanting a quick late dinner after a full day of work. Upon arrival, I saw a Malay auntie at the cashier and asked if I could still purchase food at that time. Her reaction? She sighed heavily, her shoulders moving up and down, and then told me she was closing and I'd have to wait 10 minutes. I replied that I was okay with waiting but asked if they could pack the food first, and I'd pay in 10 minutes, as there were other workers who could help. She sighed again, and by then, I had lost my appetite for your food. I'm a paying customer, not a beggar. Your Malay auntie was very rude and behaved inappropriately. Even if she was busy, she shouldn't take it out on her customers. When I then said I wasn't buying anymore, she didn't even respond; she just looked down and continued her counting. I will also be writing to your HQ as I am deeply offended by her attitude. No matter how busy or tired she was, she should never sigh or express such contempt towards customers.

I had a nice encounter with your staff Kumar today at the Tampines Hub outlet. He was friendly and informed me about the estimated waiting time. Although he was the only one handling the stall, he still did it with a smile. Not forgetting, the nasi lemak is nice too. It's always a go-to when I want to eat nasi lemak.
