Came over for dinner and ordered their signature shokudo set. Service is prompt and efficient. Ambie

Came over for dinner and ordered their signature shokudo set. Service was prompt and efficient. The ambience was spacious and comfortable. Price-wise, it was average. However, the food quality was mediocre. The meat quality was not really suitable for yakiniku. The sirloin was lean, the beef tongue was so-so, and the short ribs were full of tendons and hard to chew. Comparable to frozen halal beef from supermarket chains, the meat is more suitable for cooking and stewing rather than barbecue. So, I was basically disappointed by the meat quality and thickness. Yakiniku Go and other joints serve better meat than them. Not recommended for yakiniku. Perhaps their cooked food might be worth trying instead.

Barbecue beef and chicken Japanese style. The chicken set is poor as it is dry without the skin.

Barbecued beef and chicken, Japanese style. The chicken set was disappointing as it was dry and lacked skin.

Been here a few times and the food is okay, and the servers are usually pretty nice. Served by Zi Feng today, and safe to say, I think the man needs a break. He threw the menu on the table next to me after I was done ordering (through the QR code, not like I was troubling him with a conversation). When asked for extra sauce, I was served an eye roll (twice) before the sauce came. He was dismissive and rude when I went to make my payment (I guess he got annoyed when I didn’t hear him the first time he asked if I was a member). Hope he catches a break soon so he can serve others with a little more enthusiasm.

Sadly, the service was not what I expected. The food took a very long time to come, even for uncooked items. When I asked to check on my order, it had been taking a long time, almost 15 minutes. I was told to "WAIT." Then, the food magically appeared. It had been on the kitchen counter for a while; I know this because I happened to see it from my seat. Normally, I can wait, but another table that arrived later was served before me. So, you can figure out why I am writing this review.

They have quite a lot of seats, and it's not crowded during lunch hour. The quality of the meat is better than its competitor, but you can't choose the amount of rice you want. The kimchi that comes with the set isn't so good. Overall, it's okay, but my clothes stank when I walked out, meaning the ventilation needs to be improved.

One of my son's favorite restaurants for a late lunch. I was surprised when he asked us to eat here. It's tasty, the price is okay, but kind of pricey for students. The place is good and cozy. The staff service is good too. Will come back again next time.

If you're eating solo and want halal yakiniku, this is the place for you. They provide solo meals that you can enjoy by yourself. They have various sets at a mid-range price, but once you've tasted the meat, you'll realize you're getting your money's worth. The beef is juicy and very tasty, even without sauce. You can take your own time to grill and eat. I opted to top up some curry on my rice, and it was 100% delicious! It wasn't just veggies; it had meat too, and it was so flavorful and melted in my mouth with the taste of the curry. It's definitely in the mid to high price range, but the quality of the meat is evident. They use a QR menu for ordering, so you can take your time. If you want to add more meat, there's an option for that. Overall, it was a good experience, as it was my first time eating solo at a yakiniku place. I'll definitely come back to date myself there during my me-time

Yakiniku Shokudo Halal-certified restaurant. Visited the restaurant today and this is located at Our

Yakiniku Shokudo is a Halal-certified restaurant located at Our Tampines Hub. We visited during lunchtime and found the ambience pleasant, with good air conditioning and a quiet atmosphere, complemented by nice service. We ordered Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Yakin Soba, sirloin half, karubi (50g), and iced tea. The iced tea was wonderfully not too sweet, and the sirloin half tasted awesome. If they have a lunch offer, we will definitely come back again.

Nice ambience. Attentive service with many servers available to help. There are many food choices, including many different types of thinly sliced beef for grilling. The portion for noodles is good, with plenty of beef inside. The scallops are also really good. Ample parking space is available.
