The food was so-so, and the gyudon portion was small and overpriced in my opinion. I wouldn't pay S$16 for a small bowl of gyudon again anytime soon, especially since it wasn't the tastiest. It was only slightly bigger than what's given at Sushi Plus or Genki Sushi, which is very misleading. However, the service and food were acceptable. Please provide a more accurate picture to the description in the future. Thanks.

This place is completely misleading and dishonest. I came here because of the “free flow of rice, kimchi and soup” promotion, which was the reason I chose this restaurant. Yes, there’s a tiny piece of paper stating it only applies to the rice set, but what’s the point of asking your staff if they are going to give WRONG information? Before ordering extra rice and soup, I asked your staff clearly. They looked at my yakiniku set on the table and said, “Yes, rice and soup are free flow, only kimchi is not.” But when we paid, we were charged for the extra rice and soup! When I questioned it, the staff member said the free flow only applies to the rice set. So, which is it? Why did your staff tell me otherwise? This feels like a scam to trick customers into ordering more. If your staff don’t even know their own promotion, it’s unacceptable. If they do know but still say yes, then it’s worse – it’s deliberate misleading. I will never come back and I will definitely warn others not to be fooled by such shady practices.

$16.67 for this pathetic plate of beef rice. The rice and curry were deliberately spread flat on the plate to cover the whole surface. This is what they call a “lunch promotion”. The rice wouldn’t even fill half a regular bowl. The little strands of beef were almost nothing. Will avoid this place at all costs.

The overall dining experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant provided absolutely no service. Staff were either inattentive or completely absent, making it impossible to get assistance when needed. As for the food, it was a complete disaster. Poorly prepared, oversalted and oily, and far from what was expected. Given the subpar quality and the frustrating experience, this place is simply not worth your time, money, or calories. Avoid it at all costs.

Spoilt for choices in Bedok Mall, my son decided on grilled Yakiniku. Overall, it wasn't bad, but the noodles weren't really soba and perhaps overcooked. Otherwise, the Yakiniku soba was nice. What was interesting was that they served sambal belacan with the dish. The grilled premium beef was very worth it.
