Crave Nasi Lemak has established itself as Singapore's beloved halal-certified chain, bringing the renowned flavours of The Original Adam Road Nasi Lemak by Selera Rasa to food lovers across the island. With 43 locations spanning popular malls like NEX, Bedok Mall, Jurong Point, and Junction 8, this restaurant has gained recognition from notable figures including PM Lee, the Sultan of Brunei, and the President of Indonesia, cementing its reputation as a must-visit destination for authentic Malaysian cuisine.
What sets Crave apart is their innovative approach to the traditional nasi lemak, featuring fragrant basmati rice instead of conventional short-grain rice. The long basmati grains create a light, fluffy texture with a delicate coconut milk fragrance that perfectly absorbs the accompanying flavours without becoming clumpy. Their signature sambal chili, crafted with both Indian and Japanese chilies, strikes an ideal balance between sweet and spicy, making it accessible even to those with lower spice tolerance while delivering authentic bold flavours.
The menu showcases signature dishes like the 2-piece Spicy Chicken Wings Nasi Lemak and Nasi Lemak Royale, complemented by traditional sides including beef rendang, curry chicken, otah, and sayur lodeh. With affordable pricing ranging from -0 per dish and convenient delivery options through GrabFood, Foodpanda, and Deliveroo, Crave successfully combines traditional Malaysian heritage with modern convenience and accessibility.
Rice is so sticky. Ordered Royale and 2 x chicken wing set all the rice is sticky. Super disappointe
The rice was so sticky. I ordered the Royale and two chicken wing sets, and all the rice was sticky. I'm super disappointed. Normally, the rice grains are long and separate, but today it really wasn't good. I thought I was eating ketupat. The Nasi Lemak isn't cheap, so at least maintain the standard. We consumers are willing to pay, but please keep up the standard.

The portion of meat was ridiculously small, I couldn't believe it. I ordered the chicken cutlet, and the meat size was smaller than a child's palm, with just two pieces. I was told to send an email for a response. I sent an email on 22 September 2024, and as of 8 October, I still haven't received a reply. As of 5 November 2024, there has been no reply at all. If you don't intend to reply, then don't ask us to email you in the first place.

Went there to buy lunch (chicken cutlet NL). I was surprised when I was about to eat as the basmati rice was lumpy and watery soft (see photo after breaking up a smaller lump). I was disappointed to have such an experience as this packet cost me almost $7. Bad rice preparation process. May not return to this outlet!!

Very disappointed. How come nasi lemak comes without sambal, not even cucumber? Paid for a full price and expected a good meal, and this is what I got in the end. Please improve your staff awareness and standards. I don't want others to have such an awful experience.

I ordered the Royale with an extra sambal chilli and paid the additional $0.30. Before leaving, I specifically asked if there were two packets of sambal chilli included. The staff member confidently assured me there were. However, upon reaching home — a good 10-minute brisk walk away — I discovered only one packet in the box. I was understandably frustrated and walked all the way back to Compass One to get what I had paid for. When I returned to the store, the staff was nonchalant and unapologetic, which added to my disappointment. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or error.
This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, not just because of the missing item, but more so due to the lack of accountability and basic courtesy from the staff.
I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and improvements made to both accuracy and customer service.

Tried it with a 1-for-1 deal at $5.90 (can top up 2 banana leaf otah at $3), which is a pretty good catch. Despite the promotion, I don't think the quantity was reduced, and the staff were pretty efficient in serving the long queues. Waited only for about 15 minutes, so I'm impressed with how well it was managed.
Chicken wing - good.
Chilli - good.
Egg - okay, not bad.
Rice - okay, not bad.
Would prefer this to Lee Brothers, in fact!

Staff Nabila was friendly when I approached the stall; her 'welcome' could be heard. She and her colleagues worked hand-in-hand to pack my takeaway items. Really love the chicken wings.

I ordered two takeaways last week and found one vegetable side and one bergedil missing. I returned to order a nasi lemak and asked if they could add back the missing items. All the staff apologized and gave me a free meal with a complimentary Bandung drink. They didn't argue at all, and I was really touched by their offer. I want to spread the word about their excellent attitudes and good service. I will be back!

The fried chicken cutlet was very crispy, and I'm assuming it was freshly fried as it was dinner hour. The queue was fast-moving despite the crowd. The cashier was very polite and friendly. The food was yummy!
