I had fish and chips, along with a pot of Earl Grey tea. The experience was horrible; children were screaming at the top of their lungs constantly, and to say the cutlery was dirty would be an understatement. Worst of all, my order arrived an hour late due to some confusion. By the time my food arrived, my tea had gone cold. It was very hard to get them to fix my order; there was just confusion everywhere. The only saving grace is that the food was edible (although the fish was breaded, not battered) and the waitress was decent. I would not recommend dining here.

Fusion Spoon underwent a renovation and overhaul recently (new operator?). Food prices have increased across the board, and some popular items are no longer on the menu.
Quality is disappointing. I ordered the curry chicken rice set ($10.90?). Only one side of one piece of chicken was burnt (black) - it looks like it was perhaps at the bottom of the pan and reheated. The curry also had a slightly sourish smell; the taste wasn’t sour but wasn’t fantastic either.
We also ordered the nasi lemak burger ($18.90). For $18.90, the amount of fries was really stingy. I took one fry, and my husband squeezed the chili sauce on the side when the staff came over to say they made a mistake (no further explanation), and proceeded to quickly collect the plate with the burger… I explained to her we had already touched it, but I guess she was really rushing as she didn’t respond to me. I hope they didn’t give the burger to other customers. After about 5 minutes, our order was called again to collect the correct burger.

Giving it 5 stars because the place is beautiful, clean, has a nice view, a great variety of food, and is value-for-money.
If you're making a special trip here for the food, you might be disappointed. I would think most patrons are park-goers looking to fill their stomachs. My family enjoys coming here. Sometimes, we walk to the park, enjoy the scenery and fresh air, have our meal, and walk back home.
My family’s favourite is their nyonya laksa ($6.90?), mee siam, nasi lemak, and Hawaiian pizza ($7.90?) for the kids. I find their portions rather generous.
The restaurant might get very crowded on weekend dinner times and during events held at Jurong Lake Gardens.
The menu is available at the counter, on the TV, and outside the door. After placing an order, you’ll have to keep an eye out for your number to collect your food (may involve multiple trips). The prices are pretty much fast-food restaurant prices, hence self-service is expected.

The food looked good, but unfortunately, its taste didn't match its appearance. The spiced prawn and hummus on toast was too salty, the cheese on the mushroom melt burger wasn't fully melted, and the buns weren't great. The kids' fish and chips had a bland cut of fish. The hor fun lacked the local wok hei taste and didn't meet expectations, despite being on the chef's recommendations list. Even the banana chocolate cake was a disappointment; it made my 4-year-old reject dessert for the first time.
Satay was the only saving grace. I would not consider a second visit if the food quality remains as such.

The food quality and portion sizes have dropped over the years. The drink cup size has also become smaller and the drinks are very diluted. However, the overall price is still on the more affordable side. I guess you could say it's value for money.

I was disappointed with my visit to Fusion Spoon at Lakeside Garden on December 13. While their lunch promo priced at $10.40 seemed like a great deal, the experience fell short. The promo advertised a meal, a drink, and a dessert, but the dessert turned out to be just fruit. They should have specified it as "fruit/veg."
I ordered the Seafood Aglio Olio, which was overly salty, and the spiciness came from chili flakes rather than chili padi. It didn’t live up to its name, as the dish contained so much salty water that the prawns/fish seemed to be swimming in it.
Additionally, I tried their cheesecake, which cost $7. The portion was far too small, and the bottom layer of the cake was spoiled.
TL;DR: The price-to-quality ratio is disappointing. If this continues, people might visit once and never return, or just come for coffee and stay for hours without ordering more.

I got the chicken ham baked rice and it's really good. It comes in a nice pan with a quite filling portion size. The rice is separated well, not too dry, with some tomato sauce giving it a slight sourness. The veggies and ham provide a good variety of flavours, and the cheese is very well baked, some having a crust without being burnt. Overall, very decent food, just that it is slightly bland, but very simple and quite affordable.

Fusion Spoon is a casual self-service restaurant in Singapore that feels like a high-end food court, offering a wide variety of local and international dishes in a bright, relaxed setting. The space is especially pleasant, with ample natural light from its glass façade and a comfortable, unhurried vibe — and it wasn’t crowded during my visit.
I had the Nasi Lemak Chicken Burger from the Chef Mel Dean collaboration menu, which was interesting and enjoyable, though the fries were fairly average. Do note that this isn’t food court pricing — my meal came in at over $20. Still, for the setting and variety, I’d rate it a solid 4 out of 5.
