Paid $5 for this plate of Malay rice. The extremely small chicken thigh alone cost $3. Taste-wise, it was very normal, leaning more towards the sweet side.

Yummy and spicy. This $3.50 Mee Soto is great value for money and served hot, which I like very much. Such food really is nicer when served hot.

You've probably tasted Nasi Sambal Goreng or Nasi Rawon from other places and felt they were the best you've tried... This means you haven't tasted the ones from Hajjah Yang Chek... These are definitely the bomb among all that I have tasted... Truly, they are second to none!! A must-eat dish! Daily if possible, if not weekly!!! I must come again!!!

I enjoyed the dishes of soto ayam, bee hoon soto, and lontong at the stall. The soto ayam was a chicken soup with ketupat (rice cake), boiled eggs, mung bean sprouts, and fried shallots. The bee hoon soto was similar but with vermicelli (rice noodles) instead of ketupat. The lontong was a dish of ketupat in a coconut milk broth with vegetables and tempeh. The soto broth was flavorful and aromatic, with spices like turmeric, ginger, garlic, and lemongrass.

The nasi rawon portion is generous for the price. Tasty and delicious. Definitely coming back again for more servings. One of the few decent rawon stalls I have encountered so far. The queue can be long but it's definitely worth the wait.

First time trying their mee rebus. Very high standard with a generous portion. Can't wait to try other menu items next round. This stall has a long queue, which speaks for itself regarding their food quality.
