Good value for money with fresh ingredients. The portion size is generous. However, the service is only average, and it gets crowded during peak hours.

Worst. I'm not sure where they get this idea. This is my first time having this issue with a halal zi char restaurant. I ordered a horfun and could only choose between prawns, chicken, or beef. If I chose beef, it had to be all beef. So I took prawns. My expectation was that it would be like usual seafood horfun, with fishcake, sotong, and etc. But when the food arrived, I was shocked and angry at the same time. It only had three prawns in it, and that was it. Sorry to say, I'm not going to order from them anymore. I know last time they used to be very nice, but I might as well order from other halal zi char places.

A relatively good selection of Thai food is available at this restaurant. It's considered an affordable place to eat, but the food tried so far hasn't been too good. The Pad Thai is overly sweet, making the dish quite difficult to finish. The fried beef Kway Teow is much better, with tender beef and a slight burnt taste from the wok. Service is fast, but the service staff would do better if they could be more generous with their smiles. They all look very stern, both while taking orders behind the counter and while serving food.

Service was lousy. This outlet cannot handle crowds. What's the point of having a big place if it's not meant to handle crowds? The servers have no sense of urgency, even when the place is crowded with customers. They take their own sweet time and get orders wrong. The only saving grace, which is the reason for the one star, is that the food is not so bad.

No-frills halal Thai food that tasted good. Value for money with generous portions. We really liked the Tom Yam soup, Pad Thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice. We'll happily return again for these. The pandan chicken was flavorful but over-fried and too dry. The pineapple rice was rather plain. Service was friendly, and we didn't wait long for the food.

At their price point, this has to be the best value-for-money eatery in this so-so mall. The beef hor fun (Thai style, with carrots and kai lan) was decently cooked, and a glass of iced lychee brought the total to just $9.60 inclusive of GST! The staff are friendly, though quiet. You need to grab a table, mark your order with a pencil, pay at the cashier, and then return to your table. DO NOT CHANGE TABLE PS: Try the Fried Tang Hoon with Beef!

I frequent Magic Wok with my friend and his kids. The food is very delicious; I love the cereal prawns, pineapple rice, and desserts. So far, I usually go there around 8 pm. There are fewer crowds, and I don't have to wait 40 minutes like some have said. It's a very reasonable and affordable restaurant. I strongly recommend Magic Wok for a decent meal.

A restaurant with views of the children's playground and waterpark on the top floor of Sembawang Shopping Centre, serving hawker delights. They offer local dishes as well as Malaysian (Penang, Ipoh), Thai, Indian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Western, and Hong Kong styles at discounted prices. The food is freshly prepared with healthy ingredients, cooked with tender loving skill, and served with warm service. The spacious, air-conditioned lounge has a relaxing atmosphere with comfortable seating. I loved the Phad Thai Prawn, Seafood Mee Goreng, Thai Pineapple Rice, Tom Yam Fried Rice, and Thai Basil Minced Beef and Chicken Rice with Egg. It's conveniently located in the heart of Sembawang's neighbourhood, with plenty of dining, shopping, banking, supermarkets, groceries, sundries, services, and amenities nearby. There's a free shuttle bus to Sembawang, Woodlands, Yishun, Sembawang MRT bus interchange, Sun Plaza, Yishun MRT bus interchange, Northpoint City, and bus services to Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun, Khatib, and Canberra.
