A relatively good selection of Thai food is available at this restaurant. It's considered an affordable place to eat, but the food tried so far hasn't been too good. The Pad Thai is overly sweet, making the dish quite difficult to finish. The fried beef Kway Teow is much better, with tender beef and a slight burnt taste from the wok. Service is fast, but the service staff would do better if they could be more generous with their smiles. They all look very stern, both while taking orders behind the counter and while serving food.

The servers have no sense of urgency, even when the place is crowded with customers. They take their own sweet time and get orders wrong. The only saving grace, which is the reason for the one star, is that the food is not so bad.

I frequent Magic Wok with my friend and his kids. The food is very delicious; I love the cereal prawns, pineapple rice, and desserts. So far, I usually go there around 8 pm. There are fewer crowds, and I don't have to wait 40 minutes like some have said. It's a very reasonable and affordable restaurant. I strongly recommend Magic Wok for a decent meal.

Beyond that, let's talk about the awesome food served here in this humble joint. A restaurant that looks unassuming and pretty normal serves FANTASTIC food at ridiculously low prices. Since the first time, my family and I have been patronizing this place almost every two weeks! Our top choice: STEAMED FISH!! A huge and fresh fish served in a tangy broth, sure to awaken your tastebuds. You won't regret it! Others include the green curry (nice and creamy) as well as the honey chicken. Love this place so much!
