Padang Lezat by IndoChili brings the authentic flavors of Indonesian nasi padang cuisine to Singapore, operating as a specialized outlet within the renowned IndoChili restaurant group that has established itself as a premier destination for genuine Indonesian dining experiences. Located at the bustling Five Spice food court in Jewel Changi Airport, this 24-hour establishment serves both travelers and locals seeking authentic Indonesian comfort food in one of Singapore's most convenient and accessible locations.

The restaurant specializes in the traditional nasi padang dining experience, where diners can select from an impressive array of pre-prepared dishes that showcase the depth and complexity of Indonesian culinary traditions. Their offerings include tender beef rendang that achieves the perfect balance of spicy and sweet flavors through slow-cooking techniques that allow the meat to absorb the rich, complex spice paste that defines exceptional rendang preparation.

Padang Lezat's menu extends beyond their signature rendang to include a variety of traditional Indonesian sides and preparations. Their stir-fried bean sprouts deliver the crisp texture and fresh flavors that complement the richer curry dishes, while their scrambled fried egg incorporates subtle touches like carrot slivers and onion shreds that add both visual appeal and additional flavor dimensions to this seemingly simple dish.

What makes Padang Lezat particularly valuable is their 24-hour operation at Jewel Changi Airport, ensuring that authentic Indonesian cuisine is available to travelers regardless of flight schedules or arrival times. This accessibility, combined with their connection to the established IndoChili brand, provides confidence in both food quality and authentic preparation methods. The restaurant serves as an excellent introduction to Indonesian cuisine for international visitors while providing familiar comfort food for Indonesian travelers passing through Singapore.

I had to pay $12.50, which is too expensive. I always eat Malay food, typically one type of meat and one type of vegetable, which used to cost $6.00. Now, if I take two vegetables, charging $8 would be enough. I'd be okay even if it were $10. At $12.50, I was very surprised. I just want to say, ask for the price before ordering.

Beware of this unscrupulous store that takes advantage of tourists not proficient in English. My aunt wanted to order nasi padang without rice, and the staff proceeded to charge her exorbitant 'a la carte' prices. Twenty dollars for two vegetables and one fish is no different from daylight robbery.

Your staff don't know how to check payments thoroughly and just leave to serve the next customer immediately. My card was declined, and your staff didn't realize. Luckily, I came back immediately to make the payment of $8. Please monitor your staff! Your staff was indeed rude as well.

I've bought food here a few times and I like the food, but a staff member named Thi Thi was so rude to me. She argued with me in a loud voice due to a misunderstanding about the payment mode. She even challenged me to check the CCTV, which was very unprofessional customer service. I'm disappointed and not going to come back here again.

It wasn't too bad, though I'm not a nasi padang expert. Prices are displayed prominently on the signboard, and given this is Food Republic at Changi Airport, I didn't expect neighbourhood food court prices. I tried all the vegetarian options, and they all tasted okay, if not surprisingly pleasant. The one-person combo might be the best if you want fish, as the à la carte servings are pricier.

Ordered rice with one portion of sambal sotong, one vegetable dish, and fried mashed potatoes for $12.50. Slightly pricey, but the best part was the sotong – its spiciness, tender meat, and freshness were excellent. It was good.

I'm baffled by some of the negative reviews here. We loved the flavours of the Padang food. The Rendang was so tender. We also had curried eggs. The vegetable dishes we had were beans, eggplant, cabbage, tapioca leaves, and spinach. Portion sizes were very generous. Absolutely delicious. Two meals cost $17. We eat Padang food regularly in Australia, and this restaurant was just as good, or if not better, because of the flavours, size, and price. Thank you for a lovely meal.

I'd never tried Indonesian food before, but what I got was really delicious. It might seem expensive at first glance, but it's super cheap compared to all the restaurants upstairs in Jewel. The portions are also a lot bigger. The lady who served us was incredibly nice; we asked for recommendations because we didn't know what to get, and she definitely delivered. She even gave me extra sauce! Definitely go here.
