I've tried their otah puff, sausage puff, and sugar roll. All of them tasted pretty mediocre, and I wonder how they manage to survive? Perhaps on nostalgia alone? Their sugar roll is more expensive and doesn't even taste as good as Chateraise's fluffy roll. A really meh pastry/snack shop.

5 stars for marketing effort, but only 1 star for taste. I hope this honest feedback helps improve your next new cake creation. The honeydew cake just fell apart when I cut it and tasted bitter. I understand you're heading towards a low-sugar trend, but the hand-cut honeydew was really bland, as was the rest of the cake. The jelly, mousse, and cake didn't really work well together in this instance. The cake ended up in the bin. The watermelon cake was slightly better; it was firmer to cut and looked cute, but taste-wise... The green part is pandan cake, which tastes nice on its own. The red and white parts are firmer mousse, and finally, there's a thin layer of red jelly. It still didn't suit our taste. It was about 1/3 cake and 2/3 mousse.

The lady working on the 20th of May, during the noon shift, had a very poor attitude. When I informed her I was going to use ShopBack to pay the remainder, she remained silent. After waiting for her reply for about 10 seconds, I proceeded with the payment and showed it to her. She then scolded me for paying too quickly. Following this, another customer approached her to inquire about a cake or swiss roll, but she ignored that customer as well, and they walked away.

Aunty Angie was an absolute angel. She was really helpful, especially when our vouchers didn't work, despite the fact that they were just bought earlier this year. Our vouchers were brand new and never used before, yet for some reason, it said that both the vouchers we tried had already been used. Please fix this; it's absolutely unacceptable that we have to waste money on vouchers only for them to be useless.

On Dec 29, 2023, I bought 3 puffs (Otah, apple & chicken) from the store. They were not delicious at all. The crust was of poor quality, and I suspect it was made from poor quality shortening. My family and I swore we would not buy Polar puffs anymore. On Dec 30, we walked past the store again and got a chocolate swiss roll for $9.80, hoping it would redeem Polar. The expiry date was Jan 5, 2024. The cake didn't taste fresh even on the day we bought it (Dec 30). It was obviously not baked on Dec 30. I doubt it was baked on Dec 29, as any home baker would be able to tell the freshness of cakes by tasting them. We found it disgraceful that a bakery with many outlets produces such poor quality puffs and swiss rolls. How can this be? From now on, we must remember to never buy anything from the store again.

A tiny little shop, but you can find everything you need. I mean puffs and cakes. This was my first time visiting to collect an online order. Their Sanrio cake is so cute; my daughter requested it for her mini celebration at home.

We tried the Icy Pear Earl Grey Cake. It's very soft, spongy earl grey topped with caramelised blush pear and wrapped with crunchy almond bits. The sweetness is just right for us.
