As the name suggests, yes the food is POWERFUL. Very consistent in taste. From their Bubur Kampung (Kampung Porridge) to their Yu Tiao Rojak, it's lips-licking good. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly, the rojak bandung is similar to Malacca Chinese style (halal). The kangkung is a must in this type of rojak. It would be great if it were slightly less sweet and more spicy. 6/5 stars!

This stall sells an unusual combination of items: fruit/veggie rojak (Malay style instead of the carb-heavy Indian version) and porridge. The $6 rojak was filling enough for dinner, fresh, and healthy (lots of dietary fiber), with a spicy and sour dark sauce and a dose of crushed groundnuts. You can choose between cuttlefish and chicken meat for the protein. FYI, the "Bandung" name seems to have nothing to do with the city of Bandung in Indonesia.
