The food was horrible and definitely not worth it. The carrot cake did not taste like the typical carrot cake you'd find at the kopitiam under your block. It felt like they had never eaten carrot cake before and were trying to copy its recipe for the first time. It might look good when served, but don't let its appearance fool you. It had such an unpleasant taste and smell that I almost threw up. It was once my comfort food, but now I hate even thinking about it. Seabay Delight, please up your standards. Are we experiencing the decline of our heritage? I'm truly disappointed.

I was served cold food, and despite my repeated feedback to the chef, who dismissed my concerns, the replacement dish was also cold and prepared in under 30 seconds. This reflects poorly on the overall dining experience. Not recommended. Lousy chef and lousy food. No wonder the rating is so low.

Most tasteless Hokkien mee I’ve ever eaten. I ate the ingredients and left the plate like this, then walked off. Should have read the reviews before wasting my money here.

The staff on shift (a Chinese guy wearing a cap) looked as though he didn't want to take anyone's order and had a cranky attitude. I thought the food he cooked would be the only good thing, but it turned out to be as bad as the minimal service they provided.

Ordered the Seabay Hokkien Noodles (large) for $8. It tasted better than I expected. The sambal chilli was a bit watery and lacked punch, so I needed quite a lot.

Service was friendly and very fast. The Mongolian fish I ordered was not bad, but a little too spicy for me – it's a personal choice. The rice and egg were fragrant. This food court's ambience is okay.

This Zi Char halal stall is new at J8 Food Court. I tried their black & white carrot cake, which was okay, a bit too sweet for my liking. It would have tasted even better if they had added chai poh (preserved radish) vegetables. The White Bee Hoon, at first glance, seemed dry. However, after mixing it up in the bowl, it actually tasted better. I requested the chef to provide red cut chilli with soya sauce instead of sambal, which I found to be tastier. For takeaways, I recommend requesting them to make it soggy and watery.
