My favourite food at Yoshinoya is Chicken Katsu. Usually, I order the chicken katsu, and the meat is tender and delicious. However, on 18/05/25, the meat was so dry, hard, and salty. Not nice at all.

I didn't expect Japan standards and prices, but the taste is just passable. It's also healthier as it's not too greasy.

The cheesecake was a very small slice. The beef was fatty. They did get my order wrong; the beef bowl with egg had extra beef sauce, while the bowl without egg didn't, when it was meant to be the other way around. It's a small thing, though. Ordering via the self-help machine is fast and easy.

My first visit here since they became halal-certified. I had the salmon-beef combo; the food quality is good and I will want to come back to try the other items on the menu. It would probably be better if they replaced the cucumber with Japanese cucumber; it is tastier and more crunchy. It's also advisable to place the halal certificate more prominently near the cashier counter because that is where potential Muslim customers will look when determining the store's halal status.

This outlet is busy during peak hours, but the food standard is still pretty acceptable. Portions are good, and the chicken cutlet arrived crispy. Yoshinoya is an ideal choice when I'm craving Japanese curry rice, and I'm glad they are HALAL certified now. You can order your food at the kiosk and collect it when your number is called on the screen. It's a decent dinner spot.

The renovated version is much better, with a bright, fresh, and airy vibe. The food is excellent and of consistent quality. Highly recommend the popular beef. Yummmmmy!! Service: 5/10. Would recommend (: ❤️ * Came during peak hours (lunchtime) on a Friday and it was quite empty.

Loved their classic beef rice. It's still the best I've found, even after they updated their menu with more choices. Do come during their off-peak hours, because when I ate during off-peak, the beef rice had more gravy, which made the rice more flavourful.
