Bought a standard gyudon and a double gyudon. Both bowls ended up having the same amount of beef. I enquired with the staff, and they took some beef from one bowl to place in the other, right in front of me. Then they claimed the second bowl already had more beef. Utter nonsense.

Lousy restaurant, worst dining experience, because: 1. Plastic found in the rice bowl. How about a little bit of QA, please? 2. Not very busy (60% of tables occupied) but we still got the wrong order. 3. Staff were nowhere close to friendly. From the above, one can see the lousy management of this shop, even worse than the previous Burger King at the same location. For those who want to go, I don't think people will look at reviews before going to a fast food shop, so, good luck.

Missing the Wisteria outlet, but happy to see that they've reopened at Khatib Home Team. My kids are very happy and have been missing their favourite Yoshinoya. The staffs are very friendly, and some are from the previous Wisteria outlet. Their service is always a thumbs up. The outlet is bright and clean. Will continue to support them. Highly recommended.

They have a special yakiniku sizzling plate that most outlets don't offer. It comes with two vegetable sides and is affordable. The dining space is pleasant and clean.

I recently visited the newly opened Yoshinoya at Khatib, which I was thrilled to see after their Wisteria Mall outlet closed down. Located conveniently near my home, the store features a simple yet pleasant layout, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining atmosphere. I ordered the Ontama Kimchi Gyudon, a flavorful bowl that combines tender slices of beef with the tangy spice of kimchi, all topped with a perfectly cooked onsen egg. The beef was juicy and well-seasoned, complementing the slightly spicy and fermented taste of the kimchi, which added a nice kick to the dish. The creamy onsen egg brought the dish together, adding richness and balancing the flavors beautifully. As a fast-food chain, Yoshinoya’s Japanese offerings are convenient, and the Ontama Kimchi Gyudon is a satisfying choice for a quick, hearty meal with authentic flavors. I’m glad to have Yoshinoya back nearby, as it’s now my go-to spot for comfort food with a Japanese twist.

Another halal Japanese food joint at Yoshinoya in the Khatib area. Sadly, no ramen was available. Had to go for gyudon, which was the majority choice. Felt good about the food served, with a refreshing soup on the go. Will most look forward to their ramen on the next visit 🍜.
