In terms of food, the fried options are the safer bet. Avoid the minced chicken salad and mango salad.
The main course could be better. The sauce did not complement the steamed fish, and the sauce for the beef was overpowering. Dessert has been switched to self-service chendol, watermelon, and ice cream, which didn't meet expectations as the storage area was warm.
Service was okay and the staff were nice. It would be better if they were more proactive in clearing plates.

Overall, the food tastes good. However, we ordered the crab omelette and could barely see any crab meat (definitely not worth the price). The waiting time was long; the appetizer was served not long after ordering, but then we waited for an hour to get the other main dishes. Service-wise, they had a promo package with 50% off for two choices of desserts, but it turned out the Thai Cendol was not even available.

Ordered delivery, but the drinks were not properly packed. They were tampered with and spilled completely. I called the restaurant multiple times over 2 hours, but all calls were rejected.

The standard of the food was great especially for the price I paid for. If you’re around the corner
The food standard was great, especially for the price I paid. If you're around the corner or heading to HometeamNS for activities, do consider visiting for lunch or dinner. Overall, the black pepper taste of the beef was not overpowering, and the beef wasn't tough, which are both superb. The mango was a little on the sour side, so order it if you can accept that taste.

All foods are great and service is fast.
Shawn and the team are very attentive and recommends food
All the food was great and the service was fast. Shawn and the team were very attentive and recommended dishes that were good for our group, considering the portion sizes. They also played a nice and lively birthday song for my teammate, which was a delightful experience we haven't had elsewhere. Normally, when we've asked for our food to be served with a birthday cake, they just bring the cake, but this place brought my friend's birthday cake with a bang! The venue and ambiance were good, but as the place is small and family-oriented, it tended to be a bit noisy.

Not a crowded place, and it's spacious. The set lunch is reasonably priced, including a drink. The seafood Pad Thai tasted good, and the mango sticky rice was incredible!

Shawn, our waiter, was very warm and friendly. He took some pictures of our family, though we're a bit shy to post them. We had a Deepavali night out and an advance birthday celebration. The food was up to standard, especially the tom yum and banana dessert, which are highly recommended. All good!

I've dined at Siam Kitchen @ Khatib several times and I must say the food quality is very consistent. It's worth the money spent, despite being on the steeper side. I've tried most of their dishes, and everyone always enjoys them!
The starter platter offers much more value for money, allowing you to try more items. The pandan chicken and satay are simply delightful. The main courses are all good, especially their fried rice – I love that they're accompanied with pickled sides, which prevents the meal from being too surfeiting.
My only concern is that the drinks are too sweet (milky selections like Thai milk tea, milk coffee, and bandung). The cups could also be bigger for the price. Too much ice and a small cup for $4.90-$5.90.
Desserts are delicious but could be improved further. The chendol and red ruby are good! The fried banana isn't always sweet. I've ordered it three times and twice received bananas that were a little tough and not very sweet. Today's order, fortunately, was perfect! The tapioca needs the sugar syrup reduced significantly – it's too sweet. The syrup and coconut milk need to be balanced for this dish. I would suggest serving the syrup and coconut milk separately, allowing diners to add them according to their liking instead?
The ambiance is nice for dining with family and friends. They provide baby chairs and cutleries for families with young children. Food always comes out quickly, and they make an effort to inform us when waiting times might be long due to crowds.
I was very pleased with Syah's attentiveness and good service during my two visits. She even helped me sign up as a member so I could enjoy $5 off my meal. She was the only staff member who went the extra mile to inform me of this perk. Another staff member, Nurul, even came running to the front counter from the kitchen when she saw no one was attending to us for payment. Kudos to the girls for their exceptional service and the chefs for their quality cooking! I hope the company rewards them accordingly.
