Our family came here for dinner because of a previous experience at one of their other branches. The staff serving us was very friendly and helpful. We found the seating arrangement a little cramped. We ordered Mango Salad, Hong Kong Kai Lan with Oyster Sauce, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Hotplate Black Pepper Beef, Curry Fish Head, Fu Yong Omelette, Lemon Chicken, and Baby Squid with Thai Pineapple. Most of the dishes came in reasonably sized portions, except the Kai Lan which was really small. We had ordered mostly big portions, including for the Kai Lan, due to the number of people in our family. Having said that, most of the meat dishes consisted of only half meat, while the other half were mostly onions, capsicum, and pineapple, which were essentially padding to make the portions look bigger while providing little of the key ingredients. The Fish Head Curry did not have much fish head in it. Again, it was mostly padded by bean curds, long beans, eggplants, and other ingredients. Overall, we found the food to be average, and felt that they could have provided more of the key ingredients for each dish, instead of padding them with other items to make the portions look deceptively generous.
