Finally had lunch here after 2 years of COVID-19. It's been a while. I ordered a make-your-own burrito.
Firstly, no staff greeted us, for example, with a 'Welcome to Simple Wrap' or at least a 'Good afternoon.' Then, a Filipino staff member took my order. I told her I wanted a spinach wrap. She took a bowl and put so much spinach for my basic starter. I asked her why so much spinach.
Her reply was, 'You said you want spinach.' I told her, 'NO, I want a spinach wrap, the wrap made of spinach flavour.'
Then she realized she had made a mistake.
So, to all Simply Wrap staff, please slow down your pace. I know it's busy during lunchtime, but learn to listen and look at the customer in the eyes when you talk so you don't make mistakes. What's the point of working fast if you take the wrong order from a customer just because you don't make eye contact?
Service-wise, it was so-so, but there was one Malay guy, if I'm not wrong, who was wrapping and asked me which 2 sauces I wanted. This guy was friendlier.
Verdict: Will I be back?
Answer: Once in a while.
My meal cost $9.90 just for the vegetable wrap – no protein at all.
In total, our bill was almost $30. We ordered 2 make-your-own burrito vegetarian wraps and 1 chicken quesadilla.
Food experience-wise, I couldn't taste the 2 sauces I selected, sesame ginger and creamy avocado, at all. Not even a ginger smell.
I think for this amount, I could go to the supermarket and get lots of different kinds of vegetables and even a roasted chicken, which costs $7.90 at Cold Storage, just next to the Simply Wrap shop, and make my own wrap.
So, after reading my review, you decide whether to spend this amount of money just to eat salad.
You might want to consider 'Stuff'd'; the price is more worth it. The only thing is it's takeaway as there's no place to sit.
Stay safe, healthy, and happy always.

The wrap is a good size (bigger than most wraps in the market) with fresh vegetables and protein.
The bowl is also a solid option — the portion isn't huge, but it's satisfying enough to keep you full. If you tend to have a bigger appetite, the wrap would be the better choice.
In terms of food quality, it's excellent. As for service, like others have mentioned, the staff often come across as either overworked or simply disinterested. There's also a lack of guidance during the ordering process. They just stare, expecting you to know what's next, especially if you're ordering a customized set. It can feel a bit awkward and confusing, particularly for first-timers.
Still, if you are looking for a healthier meal option, the food is worth it. Just be prepared for the less-than-friendly service.

Bad customer service! The Filipino lady server rudely placed the menu in front of me to choose options and rolled her eyes, which I think is unacceptable for a customer willing to splurge on healthy food. Please address her unpleasant behavior. Thanks!

Wholesome bowl of custom salad. The base was very lacking as it only had 2 pieces of lettuce. My friend and I ordered our own salad bowls but really only got 2 pieces of lettuce each. Added soba, 1 protein, and 2 toppings for $10.50.

If you come during meal times, be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour in the queue. The outlet also takes orders from delivery apps and prepares them in between in-store orders. Because orders can get very complicated with different ingredients and sauces, etc., each wrap takes a while to make, and the staff sometimes get confused among themselves.
The staff are also stressed and frustrated by the overwhelming orders, leading them to snap at in-store customers. Imagine queuing for 45 minutes, and when it's finally your turn, you're met with an angry face. If you can't understand their accent, they get upset with you, leaving you feeling even more irritated.
The food was just okay. Considering the queuing and ordering experience, perhaps come during off-peak hours. There are probably better salad places at Harbourfront too.
